DIE BY MY OWN HANDS

Tom and I are glad to present this inspired and spontaneous composition of ours we completed in only an afternoon plus late evening yesterday (our fastest collaboration ever)! in the yellowish sky no unicorns in flight

but also i found as i passed my way
an orphan baby sparrow and that made my day
I saw a film oh man i just lack the words
and the screen was as large as the entire world
watchers a walking in a state of stupor
wondering what’s my acting and who’s the director
but no bonze in the air gliding on a kite

such a blast in an harbor it exploded the town
broken wings broken hearts in the port of shadows
a rastaman playing Piaf singing la vie en rose
I saw a woman oh man who gave me an eye
saying we’ll meet again in the sweet bye and bye
i got lost on my way and forced to the ground
i got caught in a loop like in 4th time around
down the pit did i see any flickering light?

armies of zombies looking for solace
i heard echoes in time from the sweet golden age
of parsley and thyme rosemary and sage

petrified like you saw a demon at your gate

i wondered could it mean the whole world’s upside down
and still no pink elephant in sight

but trying to express all that i missed
