Astigmatism - Mazes

Crows was inspired by a nightmare I had where I was enslaved by a giant Crow. The song is also an allegory for the parts of yourself that you feel compelled to give away in order to survive within the capitalist system. I took additional inspiration from Bong Joon-Ho’s “Parasite” and Park Chan-Wook’s “Decision to Leave” for their portrayals of the perils of upwards mobility and the allure of prosperity.
