“Blessings of the Twelve” is a continuous-play cycle by The Living Creatures: old Jewish folk heart (nigunim, klezmer clarinet, cimbalom, frame drum) fused with modern electronic shimmer (analog pads, octave bass, granular textures). Each song embodies Jacob’s end-of-days blessing for a tribe (Genesis 49), with on-record segues so the album flows as one journey—from unsteady waters, through judgment, service, kingship, harbors and labor, to justice, battle, table, ascent, abundance, and the watchful wolf—then gently loops back to Track 1.
