Couple Looking - For You EP

Funnuvojere is thrilled to present Couple Looking, a new project uniting the label’s mastermind Massimiliano Pagliara with fellow Berlin-based dj Chris Cruse. Celebrated on the international electronic scene, Cruse is the force behind Los Angeles’ finest queer party Spotlight, and part of the crew behind the legendary Club Toilet in Detroit.

This cheeky duo invites listeners into their world of rich sonic textures and uplifting pitches. This is evident in the juxtaposition of raw and refined acid lines of A1 "For The Remote," and the distortions that characterise also A2 "For A Snack." On the B side they're looking "For K+," an addictive Balearic groove interweaving luxurious pianos and other-worldly vocals. In the end, they are looking "For You" in the B2: a future classic Italo pop song heralding new possibilities, good advice and sweet resolutions.

In the first of a new series we invite Jacana People to take to the decks for a special hotmix, showcasing as many tracks and tricks as they can inside ten'ish minutes. 

Recorded live at Pirate Studios in Dalston - this mix powers speedily through House, Breaks and beyond. 

Jacana People are a duo with a penchant for creating delicately crafted Electronica with melodic undertones. The pair have risen to prominence following a string of releases with have gathered wide support and demonstrate a knowledge and expertise well beyond their years in respect of sound design. 

The pair begun working together in the studio and have since evolved into DJ'ing thereafter. This mix spotlights some of their creative influences and tastes in a short space of time.

(NOT)POLITICAL – the name of the EP speaks for itself’s. 7 tracks, 3 remixes – that’s the combination of the EP. Young producer Imbrasasm decided to make an EP in which he links political dogmas, speeches with music. All in all, whole EP tracks are different and connected at the same time. The main difference between tracks is that all political ideas or speeches used in tracks are different and not identical. The main message of the EP is to transfer those ideas to the public. All EP songs have different drums and sounds. It should be you, who decides if the EP is political or not.
