With Guy J’s eagerly anticipated third artist album drawing ever closer on John Digweed’s Bedrock Records, the first offering is delivered in the form of three intricately crafted productions titled ‘Nirvana’.

Forever drawing influence from contrasting styles, genres and concepts, Guy J has become synonymous with creating innovative and out of the box productions such as ‘1000 Words’ which received an array of solid reviews from leading publications within the music industry. We all live under a blue sky. 
In our increasingly unconnected world, this can be easy to forget. But sometimes we need to reach out and show solidarity with others, because no matter how small, we can all make a difference and try to create a better and more equal world for all. In the spirit of this, all proceeds from this release will go to UNICEF, to help children across the world dealing with difficult situations. All the music, artwork & mastering has been delivered voluntarily by the artists involved, from all four corners of the globe.

And so we welcome back Allies For Everyone, who follows releases on SOSO & Einmusika with “For Rejects” - a beautiful down tempo slice of electronica, full of melody and emotion, with a haunting vocal. Just Her delivers the first of the remixes, with a groove based, hypnotic interpretation of the original, including both vocal and dub versions to suit all tastes.
Label regular Nandu then delivers his trademark deep dub house style, stripped down and dark but with enough dynamics for the dance floor. And the final remix comes from Sakorka, who makes his debut on Constant Circles with a deep and trippy rework, layered with heady piano stabs and swirling FX.

Accompanying the music is a stunning visual piece from Australian Abstract artist Yvonne Cilia. “Blue Sky” was inspired by the ethos behind this release, of love, togetherness and support, because… “we all live under a blue sky”.

And so continues the story of a label built on the foundations of an unquenchable thirst for the underground and a yearning for the sounds of the future, the past and all that emerges in between. Unceasing. Limitless. A constant circle.

Allies For Everyone - For Rejects (Just Her Remix) [Constant Circles] *In Aid Of UNICEF*

Last November when hot sweaty clubs were a thing, I played along side @BookaShade at London's E1. Their album Movements, released on Get Physical back in 2006 was/still is genius and something I return to regularly for inspiration, so to share a night with them was special.

We had an amusing pre gig dinner - It was great to have a moment to actually sit down, talk and get to know the guys a little. A few weeks later Arno kindly asked if I’d be interested in remixing ‘Polar Lights’ from their new album. I’ve discussed my approach to remixing before, one of the main points being I don’t jump on them lightly however, their track was ripe for reworking - first off it wasn’t already a dance track with a 4/4 groove - it was more of a down tempo vibe and most important, due to the great performance of @joplynberlin I could hear the vocal working a treat.

2019 was winding down and we were approaching our first Christmas with Huxley so decided to wait till the new year to start work on the mix so i could give it my full attention, so ended up starting in early February after arriving in Ibiza… then old Covid-19 decided to rocked up! What then unfolded was a month tucked up away at the top of the valley, diving in and out of the project, experimenting with the original parts of the song i'd been given, searching for the little moments that would then become the final piece. There were a couple times when I needed a proper environment to get to grips with the sonics of the mix. This meant a few covert missions to a studio near by - if caught by the Ibizan police it wouldn’t have gone down well... anyhow… we got there in the end and really happy that its out now in the ether.
