It was so much fun playing this set for the wonderful folk at the first edition of the Celestial Festival :) Unlike a usual build-up to a set, since I was handed the room with great energy, I felt that momentum needed to continue for just a little longer before I took things down the trippy rabbit hole that I love to wander....a journey I hope you enjoy as much as I did ;)

A lil something about the Celestial Festival and the amazing work they did:

This festival was curated to celebrate the Asian Diasporic community by amplifying our stories and voices by platforming up-and-coming talents from our community in this event. Their goal was to highlight the diverse Asian cultures through music, sound, taste, and visuals in the celebration of the Lunar New Year.
If this year has taught us anything, it is that the Asian Diasporic community is still misunderstood, misrepresented (by the mainstream media), exotified, and marginalized. In Germany specifically, there is a lack of awareness as to how diverse Asian identities and cultures are. The Lunar New Year festival is one step in providing a space for pop music and interdisciplinary art practices to bring the Asian diaspora together, raise awareness of diverse identities, and strengthen solidarity across communities (within and outside of the Asian Diasporic identity)."

Tras mudarse recientemente a Berlín, Isabel ya está empezando a destacar, con actuaciones regulares en el legendario Berghain donde ha tocado cuatro veces desde que se trasladó a la ciudad hace pocos meses. Deseosa de ampliar sus horizontes musicales, se centra con pasión en sus proyectos en solitario, así como en su sello discográfico, NYXII Records.

Breaking in our waves with a special two-hour round of genre-busting floor hoodoo, here comes Luxemburg-via-Germany’s one and only Ogazón. Nimbly walking the tightrope between sensuous house folds and more rugged, up-for-the-jugular techno on a deep, dubby tip, Ogazón treats us to a high-end vinyl workout flush with immersive, cinematic motion and proper low-slung club-oriented extrapolations. The result is a mix that swings the pendulum between sheer blazing functionality and an escapist mindset, sparking off the inextinguible will to go out and rave your night away from the daily hassle, and you can trust Ogazón for she certainly knows how to teleport dancers to a whole cozier, comely dimension in the twinkling of an eye. To kick off the year, I’m excited to share my set recorded in August 2024 for the incredible Unfold party at @foldldn!

From the moment I stepped into the club, I was instantly embraced by its electric and welcoming vibe. The venue itself is mind-blowing, and the sound system brought the music to life in a way that was unreal.

What really made the night special was the inclusive, beautiful queer energy throughout the space. It was a true safe haven, where everyone could fully express themselves. Such a cool evening! ❤️ 

Hope you enjoy the flow of this set as much as I did playing it!

French-born but Berlin-based DJ & producer, Justine Perry proposes a timeless sound of fast-paced, deep and trippy grooves that have gained the likes of many key venues in Europe such as Berghain, Tresor, Rex Club, Khidi, IFZ or Radion to name a few.

Always on the search for new artists to support, Justine has built strong relationships that have brought her to take part in Parisian Resilience crew and becoming a resident DJ at Strasbourg well respected club - Kalt.

As part of the LGBTQIA+ community with appearances in queer parties, Justine embraces the need of building diversity and a safer environment in music.

2024 marks a significant milestone in her career, with the release of her debut EP on the renowned Dynamic Reflection label. This step showcases Justine’s finely crafted vision as a producer, adding a new dimension to her artistry and earning her recognition as a versatile talent in the techno sphere. Besides this, she also released tracks and remixes on labels like KR Records, KALT or MALöR.
