Born and raised just North of New York City, Bill has been an audio theater specialist since the age of six, voicing and producing sonic stories, music and soundscapes for both fun and profit. He currently resides in Los Angeles.

DETENTION is a high-energy pop-punk, alt rock band of teens from Akron, Ohio. During 2021, they performed at Wonderstruck Music Festival in Cleveland, Wonderbus Music Festival in Columbus Ohio among headliners Portugal The Man, AJR, Kesha, AJR and Dayglow. 

After their power-house performance on the third stage, Denny Young, President of the Elevation Group invited DETENTION to play the main stage at Wonderstruck, WonderBus and WonderRoad (Indianapolis) in 2022. DETENTION recently had Gerald Casale of Devo join them onstage, as well as comedian and musician Fred Armisen (SNL, Portlandia) at DEVOtional in Cleveland.

DETENTION­­­­ played at the world-famous Whisky a Go Go in LA and had crowd-surfing fans as they won the 24th Annual Tri-C High School Rock Off at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Barry Gabel, Senior Vice President for Live Nation said, “The band was tight, fun, exciting, and had the audience going crazy!” 
 
DETENTION spent the quarantine performing a bi-weekly residency at Jilly’s Music Room and working on new music and videos such as 56 minutes In Reverse and Good + Ready. Detention’s previous single ’56 Minutes’ has become one of the most played tracks on Sirius XM’s Faction Punk channel 314.
