Shouldering On Forward (Chiru 2020)

I'm a fledgling...composer? artist? Whatever you want to call me that makes primarily "experimental" Jungle and Hip Hop beats (though, I sometimes delve into other genres occasionally). Most of the beats that I make are pretty serendipitous and spontaneous, leaving me to have bouts of creative blocks, unfortunately. I have no concept or knowledge of sound theory or whatever, I just make stuff that sounds cool to me!

Everything I make is free to download and use for any non-commercial purpose, the only thing I'd like is a shout-out!

If you want to remix my stuff, even better! Just send over a shout-out and let me listen to it, I'd love to see what cool stuff you could make out of it!

I started making beats back in late 2008 on Garageband, moved on to PSP Rhythm in late 2009 and then to FL Studio in late 2012. Has it really been that long...? Man, I'm getting old.

I'm influenced mostly by a mix of the hip hop/rap beats I heard as a kid back in the late 90s/early 2000s, games that I played during that time and Soichi Terada (the guy who made the music for Ape Escape)

Secondary influences have to definitely be Rukunetsu, Marcell2aG (Negrosaki) (been a fan of both since 2009!) and Amprsand (been a fan since 2010!). Another realization is that NomedBeats (been a fan since 2014!) is another influence and maybe even more prominent than the others, lol.
