This is the 1P VS 2P Mode theme from Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, brought up-to-date as if the game was remastered for modern platforms. Originally called Final of Puyo Puyo and used as the fight against Satan (Dark Prince) in Puyo Puyo, this song has been considered a staple and is arguably one of the best battle themes in puzzle games!

This song was my childhood, and I felt that it brought out my best Puyo back when I was competitively playing!

After seeing a few comments on YouTube with this theme saying this sounds like something from the 'Thomas' series, I thought it was time to try and bring it to reality. The bouncy rhythm and repetitive backing chords do remind you of something from Thomas though. I did use the original percussion as a sample as I think it's fantastic and really packs a punch to the original.
