A "reflection on how diversity can [create] a sense of infinity”, No Eye Has An Equal sees the Siena composer delving into his extensive archive of electroacoustic compositions, and presenting four radical reconceptualisations of his own material; each one a view into the deeply personal atmospheres he has created, and perfected, over a decade of composing. 

Opener Brezza Perduti Arsi Tramonti is an introspective composition, where fluttering soundscapes meld with soaring choral voices, contrasting with the darker post-rock atmospherics of Mirages and Miracles, with distorted radio transmissions crackling through the heavy ether. The detuned, insistent bliss of Meiosis, Remembrances  intertwines delicate piano with heavy synthesis, leading into the dubbed out ambience of Fuoco Lontano, heard inside a glassine chamber with a distant skyline twinkling in the background. 

The reworks - meditations on meaning and perception - showcase how an established body of work can be diversified, and how “[in] a world where many tend to create borders to contain people that share supposed homogenous features, music reminds us that diversity is the soul of humanity”

Greyscale continues the run of great music in 2020 with the Mood Series #21. Newcomers Aura Minimum and Flying Cobra are the latest artist's to leave their touch on the series. 'Currents' is the title of the EP which features three segments of hypnotizing and texture-laden dub techno. In 'Current I' the melody triumphantly shines through the dense atmosphere of a torrential downpouring while being driven by powerful bass notes. 'Current II' focuses on the space inside the elements as a true experimentation in dub sounds. Be prepared to soak in its atmospheric. Lastly, part three chuggs along nicely with its heavy phased chords of dizzying heights. All three parts of Current will leave you soaked in a dub filled ecstacy.
