Open Up Your Eyes was a song I wrote for a little thing called: the  song game challenge. You get a word, and have to write a song using that word somewhere in it, within 24 hours. I can't even remember what the word was, but I took this particular challenge to challenge myself to write a song not about love or guys. Shortly before that I had gone into play for my friends 6th grade class room, I realized that all my songs were about love, or heartbreak. I thought to myself, I gotta write a song for the kids, the future generations. I love this track because its happy, positive and it reminds me of my early material.
