Mijo and Rodion are the perfect couple. They share the love of food, analog synths, cats and live perfomances.

This Ep is a perfect combination of all the things they love and much more. Recording live most of this EP they display a very interesting set of skills that runs trough all the tracks. Looped vocals, deep basses sequences, weird melodies and intense drum beats.

Canadian and Mexican forces are on remix duties. Von Party and Iñigo Vontier are also food lovers that with their dise project "Salsa FIngers" give a delicious turn to "Criminal" that is full of psyichedelia and a lot of spicy Salsa.

Performing only live shows, Idolos Futuros have been playing all around Mexico for the last years and we are proud to be the first label to release a litle of the music they have been doing during those intense perfomances.

We have something special for our next release. Mickey Dagger, who previously released a track on our Spiral compilation, sent us a whole EP jam-packed with incredible remixes. 

For his cover of the ‘80s kitsch track "I Want To Be A Cowboy,” he adds his signature dark and slightly sarcastic spin.
On the remix side, we have Antoni Maiovvi, who did a big room mix, Thomas Von Party, who made a breaky one, Ortrotasce, who contributed an old-school industrial/EBM version, and label head Facets, who was convinced by Mickey to provide his own take.

All the proceeds will be going to ISKWEU Project an indigenous women's shelter in Canada. 

"I Want To Be A Cowboy" is out digitally on October 1st, 2021.

’Sanba Yo Pran Pale’ is Koze's first remix in two years and is typically eclectic. Reimagining the traditional Haitian Vodou song as a summer dance anthem, warping and stretching the original vocals from Lakou Mizik’s Sanba Zao onto a bed of catchy rhythmic synths and warm enveloping bass. Ten minutes long, the original mix has a nostalgic analogue warmth that feels perfect for an Indian summer’s day.

’Sanba Yo Pran Pale’ is the first track off Lakou Mizik & Joseph Ray’s album ‘Leave the Bones’, and is a traditional Haitian song steeped in Vodou tradition: "The Sanbas are the poets and keepers of Haitian history and culture. They pass on their wisdom through song and story. ‘Sanba Yo Pran Pale’ is an invitation to the Sanbas to speak their truth whilst paying respect to the Vodou ‘Lwa’ or spirits."

Today, "ethereal” (Billboard) electronic producer Ben Böhmer drops his fourth single “A Matter of Time” ahead of the release of his sophomore album Begin Again (out September 24th via Anjunadeep). Böhmer’s new single “A Matter of Time” is a red-hot addition to the LP that showcases his versatility as an artist with exhilaratingly sharp beats and enticing vocals. Böhmer recently won Best Live [Streamed] Act Award at the AIMs in what has been arguably the most competitive year for live streamed performances, beating out artists including Arlo Parks and beabadoobee. The Berlin-based producer and live act has had a banner year; Böhmer is officially the fastest growing electronic artist in the world on Spotify, his 2019 debut LP Breathing surpassed 50 million streams and his live streamed show for fans from a 3,000 ft. high hot air balloon overlooking Cappadocia’s honeycombed hills via Cercle (Peggy Gou, Disclosure, The Blaze) now has over 14 million views. Begin Again was inspired and written while Böhmer and his fiancé were separated on opposite sides of the globe for nine months due to the global travel ban. The album sees him perfectly portray the longing and uncertainty he and many of us experienced during this time.

Kalipo is one of the most busiest and creative forces in Berlin’s electronic music scene. With over 30 million streams and global radio airplay, his solo project blends electronic intensity with emotional depth somewhere between club culture and indie aesthetics. Straight, driving beats rooted in Krautrock meet striking melodies inspired by Electroclash, House, and Techno from the 2000s and 2010s. His sound shifts between raw and emotive           – floating freely between Dark Disco, Electroclash, Wave, Techno, and House.

Kalipo himself describes his sound now as Disco Punk or Neo Punk – Tapping into a scene that's all about the spirit of today’s Indie Sleaze revival.

With five solo albums and a broad catalogue of singles and remixes on acclaimed labels like Iptamenos Discos, Ki Records, Get Physical, Audiolith Records and Heimlich, Kalipo has carved out a firm place in the scene. His releases have been praised by outlets such as Resident Advisor, TAZ, Spiegel Online, Rolling Stone, Musikexpress, DJ Mag, Mixmag, Groove, Tsugi, ELLE, and Penthouse.

Beyond his solo work, Kalipo is a founding member of the influential German band Frittenbude, which has played a key role in shaping the German Electropunk sound for nearly two decades and won the 1LIVE Krone, Germany’s top radio award. The band has regularly charted (in DACH Region) and performed at major festivals such as Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Hurricane, and Southside – playing in front of crowds of over 40,000 people.                                                                He is also part of the Disco-Darkwave trio Dina Summer (together with Local Suicide), which was hailed by FAZE Magazine as one of the most promising upcoming electronic acts in Germany.
