KANE is a production project with a rotating collective of unknown creators attempting to let the music speak for itself. Their debut EP “Two Hearts” reveals an eclectic pop taste; not bound to one genre, the music ranges from Indie pop to electronic R&B to something you can’t quite put your finger on.

Blending classic pop and rock & roll sounds, Royal Band reflects the diverse musical backgrounds of its founding members, Peter Daily and Darius Minaee. The duo first met while touring as drummers for indie hip- hop artists Pigeon John and Lyrics Born, forging a connection that would eventually lead them to create their own music.

During a break from their touring schedule, Peter and Darius began working with Adam MacDougall (The Black Crowes/Circles Around the Sun) as producer on a collection of songs. Their recording journey spanned four Los Angeles studios, from the beach to the hills of Hollywood. With just the two of them as the core of the band, they assembled a talented roster of musicians to bring their vision to life. Beginning at the now-closed Hollywood Sound Recorders, they quickly found their rhythm, working with guitarists Brian Ray (Paul McCartney) and Chris Bruce (Sheryl Crow). Several songs from these sessions would later be featured in the Netflix series Terrace House: Opening New Doors.

Royal Band is an eclectic blend of influences, nodding to the music of Paul McCartney & Wings, Harry Nilsson, and Steely Dan while keeping things fresh with a modern twist. Royal Band are a mix of timeless sounds and contemporary energy showcasing the unique musical personalities of Peter and Darius, creating something both nostalgic and forward-looking.

Peter Daily is an alternative/pop artist with a sound that bridges hip-hop grooves and Beatles-esque melodies. Raised in Dallas and based in Los Angeles for over two decades, Peter grew up on his father’s gospel tour bus—singing by age 4 and recording in Nashville by 7. His early piano training came from a blind pianist who helped hone Peter’s natural gift for playing by ear.

As music director for hip-hop artist Pigeon John since 2005, Peter has toured North America and Europe extensively. In 2012, he co-founded Royal Band with drummer Darius Minaee, collaborating with industry legends like Adam MacDougall (Circles Around the Sun), Brian Ray (Paul McCartney), and Shawn Davis (Beck), with mastering by Grammy-winner Richard Dodd (Tom Petty).

A near-fatal car accident in 2017 broke his hip and nearly ended it all—but after relearning how to walk, Peter returned to the studio with more clarity and depth than ever. His music has been featured on Netflix, CBS, NBC, and the Travel Channel, blending rich musicality with storytelling that sticks. His 2021 single "Good News" , produced with Zach “Reazon” Heiligman (Foster the People) marked a creative reset, with new music set to drop in fall 2025.
