With a humble appearance Sevensol is not just an excellent selector, DJ, runs esteemed label Kann and Long Vehicle, has released beautiful music, he also is part of creating a lot within the musical scenes. A longstanding figure of the Leipzig scene, behind the counter at record shops and DJ-ing since ages. Resident at Nachtdigital Festival and appearences at Panorama Bar, De School, Bassiani, Waking Life and countless places in Europe and Asia in the last 15 years. He served us tunes live from THF Radio on a very hot Berlin summer night. 

'Spinning Grounds' by @katharina-davids is all about opening grounds for newcomers to spin their music - to explore a wide range of genres from house, Detroit, deep house, minimal, dub techno to break beat....

Hailing from Leipzig, map.ache is a unique soul on dance music scene, avid digger that everybody are putting a spotlight on recently. You can often find him drinking beer in the district Connewitz and chilling around a skate park next to the famous Conne Island club. It's his favourite place to dance or play, sometimes for even 33 hours and almost always alongside his label mates Sevensol (Alex Neuschulz) and Bender (Dennis Knoof). His real name is Jan Barich, he co-runs label KANN, operates as a part of the DJ duo Manamana with Alex and he finished the last year with majestic record The Golden Age. It's released on the favourite label of the freaks of the night - Giegling. So now, as a big lover of both imprints, I'm more than happy to present him on the radio show and if you want to find more about this great guy, check our interview on the link below. We want to start this new year 2021 with all the power, that's why our Inherencia Podcast #14 is by the amazing German DJ and producer Fiedel, resident of the legendary Berghain. His great soul and talent always smash the dance-floor, with groovy and energetic techno, ranging from old school acid sounds, breakbeats, bangers and mash-ups. This set was recorded on the 3rd Inherencia Anniversary, on 31 October 2020 in Berlin.

Originally written for the ‘Horizons Sauvages’ exhibition by painter Marie-Laurence de Chauvingy de Blot, @deejaydugong accompanying composition is the reification of a shared love of nature - setting out to capture the essence of her painting in musical form. Using natural sound pallets and layered loops, the complex bio-poetics of the ecosystem are explored in the fragility of their restless liminality. Environments in motion. Above all, the compositions are meditations on the importance of preservation.

There we have it then: after-the-fall organic ambience across two full sides. Essentially essential - a blueprint for the next generation of New Age music. The resynchronization of what was, what is and what is yet to be.
