This week's Debut, and penultimate instalment of our 50WEAPONS Debut series, comes from L.A. native, Truncate (also known as Audio Injection). First dropped as part of Function's Berghain '07 mix, "86" compressed kickdrum and creeping, cyclical synths building up to a climax in typical Truncate style. On catalogue number #048, Truncate is joined by fellow driving force of contemporary techno, Benjamin Damage, whose A-side complements "86" in its acid-inflected, groove-tinted techno track, "Battle".

In October of 2016 Ray Kajioka will release his new album ‘Consistency’, the second LP from the Berlin-based techno artist. The 11 track release follows 2014’s ‘En Route’ and will be released on Heiko Laux’s label Kanzleramt, a label with which Kajioka has worked with closely for over a decade.

Consistency LP bears all the marks of a Kajioka release; a collection of deep, driving, groove-laden and synth-focused cuts. Heady grooves which leave little question why Ray Kajioka is held in such high regard among techno veterans, called upon regularly for remix honours by the the likes of Heiko Laux, Joel Mull, Pan-Pot, Elbee Bad, Alexander Kowalski and Marc Romboy, to name but a few. Kajioka’s reputation for faultless production remains consistent on this, his sophomore LP.

After recent releases on labels like Innervisons and Hotflush Recordings, Berlin based DJ/Producer Oliver Deutschmann returns with "Fokus". The 4 track ep contains 3 originals and a remix of Argentine techno don Flug. We got the latter as premiere for you. Oliver Deutschmann - "Fokus" will be out on Friday (09-08-17) via Voight.

Nach jüngsten Releases auf Innervisons und Hotflush Recordings kehrt Oliver Deutschmann nun auf dem in Barcelona/Berlin ansässigen Label Voight mit neuem 4-Tracker zurück. Auf der am Freitag (08-09-17) erscheinenden "Fokus" EP findet sich neben 3 starken Originalen auch ein Rework des Titeltrack wieder. Dafür verantworlich zeichnet niemand Geringerer als der Argentinier Flug. Seinen "Refokus" hört ihr hier als Premiere.
