This one is a fictional story of a boy who lost his Dad, older now but still a kid, reflecting on his loss, just old enough to barely remember him, too young to have made enough memories to hold on to, and whose Momma is so heart-broken, she is unable to move past her own sorrow, to be there for the boy, to start a new life.  Desensitized, lost, and full of grief, his father’s memory is fading, making the pain of loss, and his desire to be loved even greater.  The irony is in Momma’s song, how the boy is drawing parallels to his pain while she sings of hers, and they’re so lost they can’t find each other.

Whiskey and the smoke

The story of William Guise, who in 1651 was executed without trial by royalists after the Battle of Worcester. He was a local tailor who supported Oliver Cromwell (i.e. anti-monarchy). He spied on Charles II and his cavaliers discussing battle plans, then told Cromwell, leading to the King's defeat and England's only period as a republic. But the royalists hanged him before Cromwell could take control of the city. They made a death mask of his head and embedded it in a wall as a warning to royalist traitors. It is still there today, and is the cover image for this song.

I sent the finished Nashville Gamblers Country Song 1 track to MTM Mastering True Music Production for review and sound improvement, which worked very well. A very nice team from Spain. Guitars, bass, drums now have the sound I imagined. For me it was very worthwhile to hand over the mastering to an external company. When mixing and mastering, your ear stays anchored in your DAW (brain). You often think that your sounds are not that good. That's why I use an external mixing and mastering studio to control it. I really had a very positive experience with MTM. With young ears and professional training that completed my work.

With "Andoogie" (own composition) I found it only once in the "Tone Tapes" and it was "made" out of nowhere! 1993 – 1997.
Recording in the rehearsal room in Zurich: Recording device: The first mini digital tape recorder
by Sony.(Live recording) André Schmohl digitized the recordings in 2010 and put them on CD
distributed to our contributors.
In 2020, Karl Heinz - Heimgartner, who runs a small Studio One 5 from Presonus and Cubasis 2, came up with the idea of improving these live recordings.
He didn't do badly and the recordings turned out to be much better in tone and
Dynamics.
In 2023 Karl Heinz - Heimgartner completed an online equalizer and compressor course
and tried again to improve these original first titles.
Yes, it's not easy to mix single-track audio sounds.

However, I hold out hope for the future and "I stand tall for  freedom" because "America is worth fighting for"
