Eor Drahcyr is a rapper and producer (Chuck Da Child) from London who recently relocated to the West Midlands in England. A skilled lyricist touching on real life experiences usually with a humorous undertone. He has released 2 E.P's (when formerly known as Richard Roe) - Silent Witness: The Voice of No One in 2014 and Richard Roe Vs. The Strawman in 2021. He later released a mixtape titled Odds Off: 1/1,000,000 in 2022 and is due to release his debut LP at the end of February 2024 entitled 'Silent Witness Vs. The Strawman'. His storytelling paints vivid pictures, distinct voice and witty delivery, coupled with his ability to range from a plethora of topics make him hard to forget about.

Sound is a mind-blowing fusion of house, funk, disco and swing transporting the listener on a vibrant and groove-filled journey.
Progressive energy and versatility leaving a unique and memorable auditory imprint.

Heavily inspired by 80's music. Never closed in one specific genre and it had big impact on music diversity.
From metal, rock, blues, to funk rap, pop, italo disco, house and trance music.

Joe and Barry met in 2003, near Portsmouth, when they both started studying a BTEC in music together. After completing the course in 2005, they remained good friends even when Joe moved back to Birmingham. Joined by a love of music and sport, using both as an excuse to meet up as much as possible. Over the years they have played music together on and off, whether it was local gigs in Birmingham or recording new music. Due to the distance, playing new music was difficult to do regularly. In 2019, they recorded a 4 track EP. It was released in March 2020 and gives an introduction to the current line up of Hope Street. 

Early into the Covid lockdown in 2020, Joe and Barry, now both armed with recording software, started sending demos to each other. They quickly realised that they had a collection of songs that they were happy with and started working towards recording the 11 track album Silence & Chaos, scheduled to be released in December 2020. Uploading the songs as they were individually finished to Soundcloud and Instagram and receiving mostly good comments from the online community, 

Hope Street are looking forward to the future and are already working towards their next project.

Hope Street are Joe Tibbits on guitar and vocals, with Barry Harman on bass. String arrangements an some piano sections are by Steve Tibbits. We hope that you enjoy listening to our music. If you do, please follow us on our social media accounts. Thanks for listening!
