D.U.N.A. (Diluted Units of Natural Atmosphere) - BINAURAL

Parsa Hadavi, born in 1995, Gorgan Iran. He is a composer–researcher mainly focusing on the field of ecologies and its approaches to musical creation and composition. He is an interdisciplinary artist with a background in architecture and astrophysics. His interest in science led him to develop a compositional method called the Multi-dimensional composition system by evolving the perception manners in composition both in the author’s and auditor’s part. 
He has studied architecture and urbanism at the Tehran University of Art and has pursued his education in instrumental and électroacoustique composition under the supervision of Claude Ledoux, Geoffrey François, and Gilles Gobert at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, Belgium, and later in Paris under the supervision of Jean Luc Hervé and Roque Rivas and currently he is a student in Musicology at University Paris 8. 
His research contains political-social concerns with ecology and ecofeminism approaches and his compositions mainly involve accessible technology.

Born 1960 in Vienna. Austrian composer, improviser and performer. He studied composition with Friedrich Cerha and musicology in Vienna. Besides writing experimental instrumental music, he performs on his own electronic instrument m@ze°2, develops software environments for computer-aided composition and creates generative sound and video environments. Since 2007 professor of composition for electro-acoustic and experimental music at the University of Music in Vienna.

Karlheinz Essl performs on a laptop computer that he has transformed into a live electronic musical instrument. The result is exciting and musical. You just won't hear these sounds anywhere else. He performs solo and in duets and trios, responding with sensitivity to fellow musicians, producing fascinating sound transformations, creating spontaneous surprises, and moving quickly from loops to cacophony to tiny clips of vocal sounds to all kinds of textures and ideas.
