Atlanta house mainstay Treasure Fingers announced the launch of his label @psychodiscorecs this summer with the Koolaid & Sunny-D EP. In anticipation of the label's next release, @landislapace's Caffeine EP, Psycho Disco is offering a free download of "Sunny-D" for a limited time. "Sunny-D" is a refreshing splash of filter disco, taking us back to Treasure Fingers' roots. The 909 drum workout proves blending house with filtery disco loops is the perfect recipe for banging club music.

After years of DJ'ing, I always felt like we could take it a step further. Karl Kling, Jeffrey Brodsky and I had been throwing around this idea internally and we finally did it. It's about as far from "pushing play" as you can get. The idea was to get up on stage with no idea what we're gonna play and create everything on the spot. Terrifying, but absolutely exciting.

“Waxing” is a new edits series from MANI/PEDI, releasing their favorite edits from various producers they think are sailing into uncharted territory. 

Kicking it off with Daniel T's "MysticThought", a rework of a song known for its classic break, its an homage to an old DJ Harvey edit. The Silver Rider's "The Way" is an uptempo, disco nugget mined from the depths of a dusty LP, that’s been spliced and diced to resemble something more akin to it's current, peak time flavor versus the original’s slow burning nature. 

Elvin Tibideaux’s "Don’t Stop" "was the incredible bass work and rhythmic embellishment that helped explore the idea of letting the strong rhythmic ideas seemingly become obscured and fall apart." JP Source finishes out the 12" with a another serving of left-field disco groove, and some rather adventurous layers that are nothing short of infectious.
