AUTOMATA // CAVITY

Had the honor & pleasure of closing out for @kayadubz's Show Dem EP release party on 11/22/19 as a part of @sacredseshes' Dub Roots event :::)

This was my first time playing out on Funktions, so I tried to pick out tracks that I thought would properly "flex" the speakers. With an emphasis on the darker & more sinister sides of deep dubstep, this was my attempt at providing a journey set with lots of psychedelic sound design, as well as some elements more typical of a decompression set, while maintaining enough energy to keep the crowd moving constantly. 

Big ups to Sacred Seshes, Joseph Brents, and Taegen McShane for making this truly wonderful night possible, as well as all the other amazing artists who performed and live painted at this event <3
