Sean H is for the deep listeners and dedicated steppers. The Amsterdam-born, Berlin-based DJ flirts with all tempos and textures to stitch sets that connect the cerebral and the somatic. Her intricately woven mixes are driving yet spacious. Long transitions and sleight-of-hand mixing between D&B and techno drive tension and keep the flow flowing. Sean H magnetises listeners with natural and organic sounds as heard on podcasts for area127, Mana Abundance and Monochrome Association. She selects and plays with the quiet confidence and versatility of an artist beyond her years which has led her to bookings at Berghain’s Säule and numerous Hypersoft events.

Junya Yamamura began his career as a DJ and organizer while studying abroad in New York. After returning to Japan, he has continued to curate unique parties that transform various spaces—ranging from nightclubs to art venues—primarily in Tokyo. In 2021, he launched his event series “lift” alongside Ryosuke Tushiya of Pflaume Sound.

This mix was recorded during an open set at my party, “lift.” Designed to set the tone before a live performance, it focuses on creating a deep and introspective atmosphere. Through gradual transitions, the mix evolves to shift the energy of the space, maintaining a serious and immersive vibe.
