C-Rock is Frankfurt native Christian Rindermann, a seasoned DJ and house music producer. At a young age C-Rock knew that his career choice would either be music-making or football (soccer) but music had a much bigger draw. "No endless running sessions and no stupid training routines!" says C-Rock. This certainly proved to be the right choice. Over his long and adventurous career C-Rock has moved from humble beginnings, approaching his first set of nightclub decks in 1989, to become one of the heads of the 90s Frankfurt house movement. C-Rock's musical preferences and influences are many, underlying an exposure to a wide variety of sounds in his early years. His DJ sets and productions owe a debt to the early work of Curtis Mantronik and Kraftwerk, mixed with Chicago house, disco and the strong influence of the European electronic body music movement. Despite the different influence streams C-Rock simply calls his style "house music" – plain and simple. C-Rock started hitting his stride in 1994 with his debut 12" on Playhouse and his almighty "Funky dope Trakk", accompanied by the formation of his own long-running imprints stir15 and lofi stereo. It was also during this period that C-Rock was able to hone his DJ'ing talent by throwing legendary events together with Ricardo Villalobos and Yannick (Needs). House- und techno nights with legends like Chez Damier, John Acquaviva, and Carl Craig led to residencies in clubs like Monza and Frankfurt's Box. In 1998 C-Rock released his debut album Track & Feel on his own stir15 label. Hailed as a milestone in the evolution of 'new school' German house music the album received high ratings in SPEX, Groove and de:bug magazine. This was followed with a growing international demand for C-Rock as a DJ as well as collaborations with the likes of Swayzak, Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Vaeth, and Chris Duckenfield (Swag). The new millenium saw the birth of a new project. Founded by fellow Frankfurt DJ Matthias Vogt their Motorcitysoul collaboration entered the new century with a loud bang (and more than a few kick drum booms). Albums and singles for INFRACom!, Simple UK and stir15 were universally acclaimed as well as more recent singles for renowned labels such as Freerange and Ibadan. Motorcitysoul also found time to collaborate with Chez Damier on a stir15 single under the moniker of Kids In The Streets. Besides his Motorcitysoul work C-Rock also joined forces with further house heroes in the likes of Brett Johnson, Sasse, Sascha Dive, Chasing Kurt and Neville Attree (aka Further). He was also one of the resident DJs of the famous megaclub Cocoonclub in Frankfurt where C-Rock shaped the musical appearance of Sven Vaeths club-spaceship for more than seven years until the club had to close. However C did not stop there and continued with his residency for the legendary "Pracht" in Frankfurt and the "Frankfurt Ist Bunt" events (together with Alex Azary, Mengi Zeleke and Sia Sanei). My DJ set with a touch of live guitar and synths from the Ritter Butzke x Nomaden showcase, opening the stage for Super Flu and Solvane on the Arctic Stage. One of the most enjoyable nights, sharing the booth with a few Berlin legends.  Lots of melodic focus in this set, driving the energy up without going too overboard - if you are here to give it a listen - I hope you enjoy - I put my heart into this one :D (Plus a couple of new original tracks sneaked in there)

Biography:
Rishi aka Midnight Traffic started his tryst with music like any other person – as a listener. As his fondness for the music grew, so did his inclination towards electronic music and quite effortlessly he started trifling with the desire to be a DJ. Starting with a very limited  resource back in 2004, electronic music influenced his outlook towards music, thanks to his unending curiosity about genres, techniques and creating a pulsating vibe on the dance floor. Taking his inquisitiveness to the next level, Rishi embarked on a groovy journey as a DJ without any inhibitions as to where it will lead. However, his growth and evolution had an answer. 
He is described as an artist who has constantly experimented with arrays of sounds. He has been silently cooking some mind benders in the studio, always looks for newer sounds and pushes the limit. He often unlocks the sounds he had been weaving together in the studio. Rishi has played alongside some of the biggest names in the country and also of international eminence.

I had the pleasure of playing the Bespoke Musik showcase for "House of Love" at House of YES in November.

House of Love is a very intimate and unique event, the dance floor has so much more going on than a regular dance party.  It was important to the set tone: soft and sexy - yet also playful and fun, and this was definitely a special set to prepare (and close to my heart!).  

Personally - I was feeling heartbroken at the time, and this also was used as inspiration to prepare the set - drawing on that feeling of bitter sweet LOVE.  I usually play on the heavier / darker side, so this time I had a lot of space for inner reflection and dug deep - pulling out a lot of old favorite tracks that are a little more sensual - plus some recent releases.  What I didn't tell anyone at the time, the majority of the songs also have the word *LOVE* in the track title or in the lyrics!  

And full disclosure - I definitely got a tear in my eye playing Moloko's Forever More (Francois K & Eric Kupper Vocal Mix) - it's definitely my favorite track of 2019.

A journey through disko-naps and hypnotic synth grooves; late-night chill rave morphing into hi-NRG after-hours sounds.  Drawing influence from post punk and neo-psychedelia, merging italo and acid house equally, Kate delivers an unexpected journey that will leave no stone unturned.

Australian born artist, KATE STEIN is an international DJ and producer based in NYC.  Recognized for her raw, groovy, and above all ~diverse sets~ she provides a unique and distinctive style in the electronic underground scene. 

She released her debut EP "Scenic Byway" fueled with psychedelic indie dance floor thrillers on Roam Recordings.  With her second EP release in Spring 2021 on Playground Records, she has quickly turned heads and collaborated with indie favorites including Perel, Autarkic, Zillas on Acid and Moo Moonster to name a few.  Subsequent releases on TAU in 2022 and Rotten City Records 2023 saw her collaborating with Zombies in Miami, Curses, Leonor, Niv Ast, Elfenberg and New Hook.

Keep an eye on this rocket: with her 5th release in March 2024, on her own imprint @99FVR collaborating with Mala Ika and Neu Romancer + Radondo.  Her dynamic and fun approach to soundscapes is in full bloom.
