No, the hard time is long over. 
The hard time is buried along with his hatchets.
Please don’t whisper as if the hard time is still here and listening…
And no, if you’re wondering, I do not think of the hard time until you bring him up.
I have no feelings towards or about the hard time, 
except if you count pity and a small dose of regret for not having ended things with the hard time sooner. 
The hard time has been over, really, for the last year or so.
You act as if you just missed the hard time.
It’s been months since the hard time lived here, in theory.
You have the wrong address and the wrong person and the wrong intent."
