Confusion is a producer and Raserei resident DJ. His dancefloor-oriented sound is characterized by highly effective rhythms, minimalist synths, and trippy pads or textures that traverse various tempos and subgenres, maintaining a consistent energy level. Drawing inspiration from his roots as a drummer and the evolving landscape of techno over the decades, Confusion also finds creative influence in his appreciation for ambient soundscapes, IDM, and other experimental electronic genres. 

Since 2017, he has been shaping the regional techno scene in Mannheim and its surroundings. Further bookings in institutional clubs like Tresor Berlin or RSO followed. Co-hosting a visionary event series at Disco Zwei, he has been instrumental in presenting well-respected bookings to the local scene. Besides the club nights, the Raserei residents started a record label of the same name, to establish themselves and their musical vision beyond the region.

In recent years, his focus has expanded to crafting own stripped-down yet minimalistic but timeless techno tracks. After his first musical output, he released his first vinyl record on the esteemed label SK_eleven, run by Setaoc Mass, as part of the SKX series. Confusion's music has garnered support from established artists like DVS1, Luke Slater, Rødhåd, Rene Wise, Philippa Pacho, Marrøn, Blue Hour, and Quelza to name a few, who played his tracks in sets at renowned venues like Berghain, KHIDI, Bassiani, Basement, FOLD and Radion.
