Matthew Hoh (https://twitter.com/MatthewPHoh) is a disabled Marine combat veteran for peace who is running as a Green Party candidate for the US Senate to represent the people of North Carolina. The North Carolina Democrats have refused to certify the Green Party Ballot access petition required to run. Matthew Hoh is a senior fellow with the Center for International Policy. He is a 100% disabled Marine combat veteran and, in 2009, he resigned his position with the State Department in Afghanistan in protest of the escalation of the war. He is a candidate with the Green Party to represent North Carolina in the US Senate in 2022.


John P. Ruehl is an Australian-American journalist living in Washington D.C.  He writes for The Independent Media Institute, is a contributing editor to Strategic Policy, runs the Geopolitics General Channel on Roundtable Media, and his book "Budget Superpower" will be available later this year.


Carl Zha (Twitter @CarlZha) is the host of the Silk and Steel podcast focusing on China and surrounding regions, history, politics and culture.

In her 73 turns around the sun, Karen Zelermyer has held a multiplicity of job titles including President and CEO of a philanthropic advocacy organization, Deputy Director of an LGBTQ foundation, Development Director of a women’s social service organization, Board Chair and foundation consultant. Karen is also a life-long social justice feminist activist.  She cut her activism teeth in the Vietnam anti-war movement and continues to have an unwavering commitment to the dismantling of racism and white privilege, heteronormativity and misogyny. She is the co-host and creator of the podcast I Was Never There.  She also has a few degrees but that was a really long time ago.
