Voiceless trees is a soothing sound healing instrumental version of Kat Kikta's soothing pro peace prayer- like song 'Cherry Trees'.

"Cherry Trees" is an ambient alt-pop song that weaves heartfelt melodies with powerful messages of compassion, hope and peace, aimed at the heart of the listener.

Kat Kikta utilises her music as a platform to advocate for peace, echoing the sentiments of a new generation yearning for harmony and understanding.

The calming quality of this music will add a soothing space to your life and creativity. “Vajra Mind” features some never before released tracks and alternate versions of classic tunes, and collects the various ambient tracks featured in the Desert Trax catalog from 2001 to 2015 into one cohesive offering. With this powerful track we each take a journey that is extremely personal. We follow a vibrant fiery star cast across the sky, illuminating a landscape below where we find our spectres, museum-like, suspended in their own amber. Electra creates a space in which the hidden beauty of those spectres can be seen.
Whilst we are all set to take a different voyage with this piece of music, we are all united under the flag of being liberated from the cave, to come outside and see things as they really are.
“ From the beginning with this track I was set on it being journey. The scale of the journey and the distances involved are not important. It could be souls traveling between galaxies, or it could be a journey of an impulse traveling though a nerve in a human body. The perspective and relativity is on the listener, but what’s fun for me is that they’re equally as moving, and its advantageous for the traveler, the listener, to be centred and at peace as they move.”

Dubduk is Em9’s first foray into Reggae Dub—layering classic dub grooves with rich, atmospheric textures and live wind instruments. Centered around the expressive sound of the Armenian duduk, the track blends organic and electronic elements to create a deep, meditative vibe. 

Em9 is spearheaded by @joelloopez; a composer, sound designer and producer based in Barcelona. Dubduk marks another step in Em9’s evolution from solo producer to full band, continuing the project’s exploration of global sounds through modern production.

Aside from his project as Em9, Joel Loopez creates original music for media, including soundtracks for films and video games, melodies for advertising and arrangements for independent artists.

‘Under the moonlight’ is an otherworldly love song about things that are missing from us. A song filled with longing and desire, held by a connection to another who isn’t physically present. The relationship in the song may be stretched across time with a memory, or over a great distance with one who is absent. Or maybe it was all just a dream. In any event, it is the same moon overhead and the same moonlight that the two factions share, and under the moonlight is where they are allowed to forget the separation and be together. 
The song was created and inspired, written, and worked on during nights when the moon was full. A song 3 years in the making, the moon directed the journey of the lyrics and production and in due course also the accompanying video.

Kat Kikta is a multi-dimensional artist, producer, singer, and songwriter.
Her creativity straddles music, film, and sound art. Through her use of sound healing instruments, her own field recordings, 'found' & electronic beats, and multi-layered vocals, she creates Avant-pop songs dripping with cinematic and ambient intentions.

Kat is a dedicated on-screen performer, and this becomes evident in the anticipated music videos attached to her work.
Many of the instruments Kat uses are normally found in the realm of healing, meditation, and spiritual mysticism. This is no accident, as she openly aims to create music that helps to heal and rekindle the spirit.

Katarina started life in the snowy mountains of communist-controlled Czechoslovakia, came to London with forty pounds in her pocket, and set about working her way through a Performing arts degree. Although she has always been a prolific writer of songs, she was to become a screen actress, video, and sound artist, before she started to write & perform her own songs.

On this journey, she overcame mental illness, a paralyzing lack of self-confidence, and recovered to become a qualified therapist & yoga and meditation teacher, self-funding her creative ambitions.

Self-development and growth are indeed strong themes running throughout her work. Whilst most of the music Kikta produces is comprised of electronic elements, she often employs exotic instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls, water-phones, angel forks- instruments normally found in the realm of sound-healing and mysticism, perhaps evidence of her background, and a clue that she is interested in making music which elevates and inspires others.

Self-expression through songwriting, dance, and painting carried her through the hardest times and her self-confessed mission is to help others through her music with her truthful, unpretentious, and vulnerable lyrics.

A reoccurring notion prevalent in much of her work is that there is no experience that is so dark and intolerable that cannot be turned into a strength that can serve you.

Many of Kat's lyrics have come about in sudden moments of 'enlightenment' and clarity, most of them just 'came to her', as if downloaded.

“It is my responsibility in this life to channel and translate the things that come to me and find the best way to bring them into the world through sound, lyrics, melodies & atmosphere so that they can move onwards on their own journey. It’s important they don’t stop with me, but touch other people the same way they touched me."

Her music encounters our everyday stories and questions our perception of time, present moment, dreams & realities, space, and atmosphere, this is augmented by her visual work. She has produced and performed in a number of music videos to accompany her sounds, which often cross the boundary from music video to art film to drama and back again.
Kat is currently releasing songs from her debut album Moldavite.

Through immersive sound and luminous visual accompaniments, she creates experiences that transcend entertainment, becoming sacred rituals of reflection and transformation. Her intention is to foster a space where listeners can reconnect with their inner truths, guided by music that seeks to elevate and inspire.
