This song born as a moment of #deep reflection, a detachment that marks a beginning starting from an end; in the succession of chapters and styles within our proposal, we grant a rest for the ears, simplified and for pure #style exercise.

A track born as a casual experimentation of classical instruments (in this case an harp) that over time has been enriched with instruments and a plot of its own, and which therefore deserved a place in our releases.

Without expecting, without overdoing it, a wandering and a becoming, and a proposition.

You know how certain pieces do not require vocals? I believe the same to an extent. I also believe that certain pieces do not require instrumentation. With that being said, most of my tracks are a cappella, for vocal performance is my main goal. I tinker with instruments here and there, so I apologize in advance if they sound a tad screwy. I realize I have a long way to go with my voice, but practice makes almost perfect! :-) Other than that, my bio in a nutshell is below.

BACKGROUND Hegstraction grew up in the 80s & 90s heavily influenced by the emergent electronic music in Amiga, Nintendo & PlayStation video games & the movie soundtracks by electronic music pioneers Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis & Kraftwerk. Recent influences from German techno DJ/producers Felix Krocher & Stephan Bodzin.

INSPIRATION His inspiration differs from most artists as it comes from the dance floor where he is most at home. From over 20 years experiencing DJ sets worldwide throughout Europe, Asia, South & North America, his ideas have been shaped.

METHODOLOGY He approaches each track as a mini set, building up slowly, using level changes, sounds that stimulate & energize, following Skeletalism (using closely related sounds) & Massification (layering sounds over time) methods.

Fascinated of the Universe of Techno and Electronic Music.
Producer of various style of Electronic music: from EDM to Melodic Techno, Dark Techno, Experimental Sound Design.
