Cache 003.. This one is a journey in 3 parts. 
With this mix, I knew where I wanted to start and my ultimate destination: both tracks, the first and the last, have Indian elements and Hindi vocals. For the rest of it, I had some idea about the landscapes I wanted to traverse, but didn't plan the path and turns until I started playing.

The promoter behind Portland's Switch Dance Party and co-founder of Brooklyn's young techno showcase TechTonics, Novail has been hard at work establishing themself in the bi-coastal queer dance scene. Since landing in Brooklyn, Novail has been an active contributor to the underground rave network, working in production with the notorious UNTER party while producing, promoting and supporting a variety of other nights themselves. As a DJ, Novail is active in both the underground techno scene and the queer house scene, curating across a broad range of sonic space between hypnotic environments with dripping, dubby, acidic dimensions and cunty grooves with jacking rhythms and classic elements. Seen behind the decks in places such as Portland's Holocene, NY's Bossa Nova Civic Club, the Chernobyl Warehouse and beyond, Novail is an artist committed to the process of listening, learning, contributing and carrying forward the legacy of those who have come before. 

From Novail - Big thank you to othrwrld for the space to share this through Club Liminal. For this mix I wanted to explore a deep, drippy, hypnotic and wet realm of exploration, yearning and mystery, infused with some sass, sexiness and a hint of rebellion. Wading through the murky unknown depths of the day to day with the intention of seeking understanding while being open to change and difference has helped me develop comfort within the unknown and an eagerness to discover. I hope through this mix some of that discovery can be shared with those who listen.

Welcoming Katerina to the 909 series who provides a gorgeous, blissed-out rolling mix flowing through tracks from Young Marco, BUD, Simone De Kunovich, Helium, Agent Orange and more. 

Katerina is a Finnish Bulgarian artist who is the founder of labels Émotsiya and Kotarak, releasing music from the likes of Sansibar and Exploited Body. Earlier this summer, Katerina released her debut EP for the esteemed Running Back which the label files under "singer-songwriter house, outsider or campfire dance".  Showing the evolution of who Katerina is an artist, the EP followed on from records on Cómeme, Hivern Discs, Tigersushi and Rhythm Section.

A staple within the Helsinki club scene, Katerina has helped build the profile of local institutions such as Kaiku and Flow Festival through her global recognition which has led to gigs in Paris, Berlin, Ibiza and more.
