Here is some audio from my front yard last night. I was recording some fireworks from across the street and at 10:25PM a small truck hit a utility pole about 100 meters from where I was standing. The dirt road is at the bottom a steep hill to the North of my ranch and the fireworks were to the East. The MKH-8040ST was pointed toward the fireworks. The driver was going just a little to fast and could not make the 90 degree turn in the road and knocked out a power line pole. The driver was OK and the power company had the line back up within 2 hours. I am truly grateful there were not any serious injuries. -Frank
