Grey Code DJ Set | Studio Drum & Bass Invites

The next mix in the Bassic series comes from Dispatch mainstay and Metalheadz newcomer, DLR.  

His latest track "Blue Room" w/ Script is out today and straight in at #1 on Redeye, leading on from stand-out March releases "New Design" w/ Break and "Totem / Novate" on Dispatch.

The EP opens with the vintage Bristolian-style vibes of 'The Players Club', before Neekeetone gets busy on the remix of 'Universal Rules', moving the original in a different direction with a solid amen workout. 

'Sub Level One' takes things into a deeper video-game influenced vibe before 'Darkness Comes The Light' alternates between deeper tones and more fanciful keys, before the intricate drum work of 'Hold On Me' brings things to a close.

Will Keen aka Keeno is a Bristol-based composer and producer specialising in his own blend of Orchestral Drum & Bass. He started touring globally in 2013 at some of the world's most famous clubs and festivals with his emotionally charged, musical and uplifting sets. Most recently, Keeno has been making waves with his new live show combining Live Piano + String Quartet with Drum & Bass.

Keeno's music captured the attention of Hospital Records in 2014, where he was signed at the age of 19. All 4 of his studio albums reached the top 25 in the Official Dance Albums Charts. He has gathered over 100 million streams and collaborated with Etherwood, Whiney,  Unglued, and DRS and remixed Sultan + Shepard, Above & Beyond, S.P.Y, Fred V & Grafix and Maduk.

In 2022, Keeno went on to found his own record label: Keeno Music pioneering Orchestral DnB. It launched with the immersive Courage EP, a UKF On Air set in the mountains of Andorra and his 1 Year Of Keeno Music Album featuring the co-writing talents of Makoto, In:Most, Diandra Faye & more. He’s the only artist in the world pushing this sound right now. Keeno Music's events have also been growing in popularity with 12 sold-out events in a row focussing on LIVE Orchestral Drum & Bass. Keeno’s one of a kind.

Keeno's "Nocturne" was the start screen theme for "Forza Horizons 2" and his music was included in all game sequels to the present day. Other sync clients include Jaguar, The Crew Motorfest and many more.
