Fresh off winning the "Best Newcomer Producer" award at the prestigious Drum & Bass Arena 2014 Awards, along with being nominated for "Best Newcomer DJ" and "Best Club Night" (Liquicity, which he co-runs), Dutch-based producer, Maduk makes his return to Viper Recordings with his new single 'How Could You', backed with 'Love Like This' (a collab with German producer, Champion).

Maduk made his Viper debut in 2012, winning the official Beatport Remix Contest for Matrix & Futurebound’s single, ‘All I Know’. This was followed by his debut Viper single ‘Feel Good / Don’t Be Afraid’, and ‘Live’ from Viper’s annual Summer Slammers 2013 album. 

More recently he has collaborated with Logistics and Nu:Tone on 'Stutter' from Logistics 'Polyphony' album on Hospital Records, as well as releasing top tracks such as 'Believe' and 'Kings & Queens' through his own label Liquicity which he co-runs with fellow Dutchman, Maris Goudzwaard.

“People on the Ground” explores through the obscure yet brilliant sounds of one of Sydney’s most talented exports for a haunting and hypnotic take on drum & bass. Title track features the captivating vocals of Hannah Joy and moves through melodic, piano foundations before catapulting into a euphoric whirlwind of sounds and styles making way for mania to come.

There are the sudden, schizophrenic switch-ups of “Give Me the World” and “I Saw the Face of a Person” that highlight Royalston's unpredictable style. His game of guesswork keeps things exciting and exhilarating throughout with influences of techno, house and trance all enticingly tangled into dirty drums and deep bass. “The Wrath of Mr Sparkles” and “Don’t Give Me Up” are not to be taken lightly, unrelenting and unrestricted to any musical parameters.

When he’s not writing drum & bass Royalston pursues his other passion of illustration, which he’s made full use of in this project, with the intricate detail in his music replicated in the artwork he solely designed.
The "People on the Ground" LP accelerates Royalston from his previous album "OCD", whilst keeping to his unorthodox approach to production mashing and merging genres into one crazed counterpart.

Good Times, Bad Times and Honesty heralds the minimalistic, sonically charged sound which epitomises their discography whilst dipping into newer territories. The Viennese outfit create a fresh, enticing arpeggio with Good Times, Bad Times, moving out on strung harmonies and bolstered with punching drums. Male vocal sifts through the mix, creating a humanist underpinning which juxtaposes perfectly with its crackling snare underneath. Will Keen aka Keeno is a Bristol-based composer and producer specialising in his own blend of Orchestral Drum & Bass. He started touring globally in 2013 at some of the world's most famous clubs and festivals with his emotionally charged, musical and uplifting sets. Most recently, Keeno has been making waves with his new live show combining Live Piano + String Quartet with Drum & Bass.

Keeno's music captured the attention of Hospital Records in 2014, where he was signed at the age of 19. All 4 of his studio albums reached the top 25 in the Official Dance Albums Charts. He has gathered over 100 million streams and collaborated with Etherwood, Whiney,  Unglued, and DRS and remixed Sultan + Shepard, Above & Beyond, S.P.Y, Fred V & Grafix and Maduk.

In 2022, Keeno went on to found his own record label: Keeno Music pioneering Orchestral DnB. It launched with the immersive Courage EP, a UKF On Air set in the mountains of Andorra and his 1 Year Of Keeno Music Album featuring the co-writing talents of Makoto, In:Most, Diandra Faye & more. He’s the only artist in the world pushing this sound right now. Keeno Music's events have also been growing in popularity with 12 sold-out events in a row focussing on LIVE Orchestral Drum & Bass.
