S: Hello Verum it's a pleasure to get you on our SimplyDubs mix series. If you had to pick one which is your personal favorite track from this mix and why?

P: Hello Simply Deep team & family - I am so grateful to have a Simplydubs mix apart of your series to share my expressions through your platform & listeners. If i had to pick a favorite track (which is very difficult 😂)  i would narrow it down to two. Reduction / Travel & Escape. Reduction reflects my love for dub, dance hall, and warm moving bass textures. It lifts me up with nostalgia and gets my body moving quite well. Travel & Escape is a tune that is super emotional to me with a lot of intricacies and moving parts. Life has a lot of moving parts. Love, pain, excitement, pleasure,  growth. I feel that tune evolves emotionally and I spent a great deal of time with it.

S: Who or what are your biggest influences when it comes to making music?

P: My biggest influences with music range all over the spectrum.
Scott Brown's UK hardcore / Gabber to keep a steady groove with evolving melody (dark & light. Bob Dylan's lyrical influence of expression and life teaches me to feel myself and write the feels.
Skream! Changed my world 11 years back and everytime i listen to any era tunes by him im immediately inspired. Lastly Dave Tipper, by far tipper has inspired me to think outside the box, break the rules, find a pocket, pursue the depths of sound design and individuality.

S: What is one of your biggest musical ambitions that you would like to achieve?

P: My biggest goal to achieve is to have as many humans feel any emotional response from my work. Tis the whole goal. Furthering the distance from Minneapolis one day at a time 

S: Anything else to say to the heads checking this mix?
