My sunrise set from the December FMG moontribe on 12/19/21. It was in the high 20's (F) out in the Mojave Desert and the set transitioned the party from night to day (5:30a - 7:30a). The switch from DnB to Breaks/Garage happened just as the sun peaked over the horizon, it worked out perfectly. This was also my first time back playing in-person at Moontribe in almost exactly 2 years, so I really wanted to kick em in the pants with some new stuff ;)

Felt a ton of love from the Moontribe fam and was so happy to be back in the desert playing tunes for them again!

Aggression has been a staple artist in the Boise electronic music scene for almost two decades. His versatility in styles is difficult to match and even more so is his dedication and love of electronic music in general. Finding his sound in Eugene, OR, he then took his talents to Boise, Idaho where he has been evolving and diversifying his sound ever since. Lately he’s been using whatever tools work best to keep the dance floor moving with Drum and Bass, Breaks, Psy, House and Techno, and his latest obsession - Deep Dub. If you want to see an artist’s passion for what they do come to life while hearing beats that won’t allow you to hold still then check out Aggression.

Sovamind is also an accomplished musician who is known for playing various styles of psychedelic music as a DJ.  The two styles Sovamind is most known for are Psy-trance and Psy-dub styles.  Psy-trance is known for its fast driving dance style baselines with psychedelic melodies and effects while Psy-dub is more down-tempo with a Reggae type beat.  In addition to Sovamind’s DJing he is also working on his first musical album titled “Environments”.

Neither bidgee nor widgee, although picky with the grooves to make you shimmy. Curating moods, shifting dance floors and finding that sweet spot of connectivity is what Bidgee is all about when it comes to mixing tunes. 

A DJ of many genres from the eastern suburbs of Melbourne but has found inspiration in his music from the Australian bush. Slowly emerging into the competitive underground scene of Melbourne, Acaena has been turning heads with his tasteful selection of music and experimentation throughout a set.

Also known for his Co-Founding of ‘Proxima Frequencies’. A fresh collective in the scene constructed to not favor any direct style but to give people the opportunity to express themselves through music,art and dance.

Resident at Sooki Saturdays, Belgrave
