My sunrise set from the December FMG moontribe on 12/19/21. It was in the high 20's (F) out in the Mojave Desert and the set transitioned the party from night to day (5:30a - 7:30a). The switch from DnB to Breaks/Garage happened just as the sun peaked over the horizon, it worked out perfectly. This was also my first time back playing in-person at Moontribe in almost exactly 2 years, so I really wanted to kick em in the pants with some new stuff ;)

Felt a ton of love from the Moontribe fam and was so happy to be back in the desert playing tunes for them again!

Sofa Beats series continues, this time with the mixed version of Psi-Fi “Book Of Change” compilation by KUKAN-DUB-LAGAN.

KUKAN-DUB-LAGAN is the project of Itay Berger. Itay is 40 years old, located in Barcelona, Spain. He has been listening and playing electronic music since he was 16 years old. He spent over 3 years working as a sound engineer in one of the top sound and light companies in Israel. His decision to make music was strongly influenced by his trip to Ibiza in 1997-8. At that time he also started to preform in Israel and abroad at mostly underground parties. Itay’s general musical influences are wide-ranging. His journey into chill-out djing started in 2002 in Israel. During that time he was also signed by a UK techno-house label (www.klubdj.co.uk) under the name DJ Itay for a year and flew to Japan to play at parties in Osaka and Kyoto. Returning back to Israel, he enrolled to sound engineering college for one year and totally committed
himself to music composition. Drawing from his djing experience, his early family musical influences as well as his own musical background he created his chill-out project: KUKAN-DUB-LAGAN.

two weekends ago, the stars aligned and I was graced with the opportunity to showcase my music at one of the most legendary underground music events on the west coast… Moontribe. It is my favorite party of the year and this year was my turn to show off some of my musical style. I combined some originals with a bunch of my favorite heavy hitters for this 10pm - 11:30pm set on that beautiful Sunday night. I’m incredibly happy with the support I got on the dance floor and all the warm compliments I’ve received since then. As a token of my gratitude, please, enjoy this set. Live in Love
