The ICE LP was created by Maxim Wolzyn over a period of three years, mostly whilst touring throughout Germany by train as part of the Günther Lause duo. Spread over eight tracks, the LP poetically captures the complex networks of railways and tunnel systems that carry with them the thoughts and feelings of millions of people, aspiring to attain an overall impression of the collective consciousness of a society on the move. 

Inspired sonically by the soundscapes of urban spaces, rail stations and the pulsing motions of modern mass transportation, various field recordings are mixed with reverberating synthesizer patterns and percussive composition, creating a mixture of straight forward techno and dystopian ambiences. 

While being reminiscent of Berlin's dub techno tradition it also transcends the typical club context, moving into the realm of the intimate and personal.

Fred and Luna serve as the muse for Rainer Buchmüller, a musician from Karlsruhe. With previous releases on Optimo Music and Frank Wiedemann from Âme label Bigamo Musik,  "Im Tiefenrausch" is his second LP exploring melodic soundscapes, motorik beats and marked krautrock influences. Here we feature 'Blues Im Gepäck' from the LP. A rolling, downtempo groove. Rich in atmosphere and harmonic subtleties. Coming across not at all unlike an electronic Nick Cave record we think

This sound and mastering technician has been part of other companies in the past and his more than 30 years of experience have taken him to the best clubs in Spain during the 90s. He has also been acting abroad several times. He is one of the few that has accomplished to have his own and particular sound, forged by hard work and a lot of effort at the studio, knowing what he wants and showing that at each one of his sets and tracks. Full of charism, passion, and quality, he is able to surprise the most demanding ears of the actual musical scene.

If there are any pioneers in Toledo, K-Effect is, without any doubt, one of them. Working in developing new wave and slow sounds with a lot of energy, fresh and cool sounds which have led him since he began as K-Effect to remix and master for labels such as Nein Records, Logical Records, tici taci, Emerald & Doreen, Regith Rec, ESTHÉTIQUE and Beat Is Murder; shared EPs with artists like Freudenthal/Pardon Moi, Long Champs, Otheo, Demon Jee/Nozz, Volta Cab, Ujin Ray, Los Fugazzi, Ands Mega (FLXXX), Mr.Bc, Wolfstream, Javier Busto, Olsvangér, Leonor, Cabizbajo among other artists consolidated in the current electronic music scene; and have projects in common with producers like Cannibal Ink, Curses, Tronik Youth and Tkuz, to name some of them.

His sets combine with excellence many music genres, such as New Wave, Nudisco, Space Disco, Slow Techno, Dark Sounds, Acid, Techno and Psychedelic Trance. Currently, he is quite focused on underground sounds between 100 and 120 BPM.

Anadol (@altinkasetcilik) is a psychedelic synth folk project by Gözen Atila, a Turkish sound artist and photographer based in Berlin. Her third album Uzun Havalar is based on collective improvisations of middle eastern folk songs called „uzun hava“. They turn out as rich, atmospheric synth ballads. A diverse roster of improvising musicians creates their fascinating complexity. Anadol recorded them during extensive sessions in Istanbul. You can hear drummers laughing and playing guitars, composers howling, announcements in French and screams in no language, record collectors playing oscillators, and trumpets through spacious echoes.
Anadol represents Gözen Atila’s liberation from a rather academic approach to electronic composition which she pursued during her music technology studies in Istanbul. She calls her education the „darkness of serious music“ where she first tried to belong, then to break free with the help of lo-fi synth pop. As a producer of radio plays and an expert field recording artist, she has developed a distinct sense of timing, editing and sound design. Her Anadol project walks in the footsteps of lone synth experimentalists like Bruce Haack and The Space Lady with their childlike curiosity for electronic sounds, pushing the boundaries of minimal equipment. On Uzun Havalar she translates her experimental background into these floating folk ballads.

We have something a little different for Sinchi & Friends 90 in the form of  a 4hr Italo set recorded at Berlin's infamous Wilde Renate (@renate-schallplatten).  @PhilippSchultheis is a regular at the club via Marlon Hoffstadt's Savour the Moment residency  and serves up an excellent selection of hidden gems which we're sure you'll enjoy as much as we did. 1) Introduce yourself?

Hi. I'm Philipp Schultheis. I like to eat and sometimes I play my favourite records in public!

2) What have been your highlights from the last 12 months?

Besides deejaying eight or nine times at Wilde Renate in 2019, it was definitely one for the books to play at Gewölbe, Cologne – where I had one of my very first club experiences some years ago. And my first international gig at Peronas, Vilnius. 2019 was pretty cool!

3) What do you have lined up for the coming year?

No special plans yet – but I'm really hyped for an upcoming party in Frankfurt where I will play alongside Lauer and Benjamin Fröhlich.

Originally reincarnating himself as Curses in 2007 the man has moved from strength to strength and we have followed his every step!  owner of Ombra international, a mainstay at Dischi Autunno and master of ceremonies at Nein Records Curses productions always hit the nail on the head!!  From Djin to performing as a live band we could not be more excited about hosting him at Revolver in but a few day's time!!
