Nina Violet writes the songs, sings them and plays guitar. She also performed all the string arrangements, played piano and organ,recorders and Rhodes...and plucked the autoharp.
Marciana Jones sang all the backing and harmony vocals. She also played Omnicord, Casio,strummed the autoharp and picked at the banjo.
Matthew Cullen played the electric bass. He also played some electric guitar........and recorded the whole thing.
Mathias Kunzli played the drums and all the percussive stuff.
Mark Marinoff played sax and clarinet
Mike Leighton played some of the flutes

Walter and the Night Owls are a Somerville, MA-based alternative-folk band that have been making waves in the independent Boston music scene for the past year. Combining acoustic guitar, violin, and cello with soft vocal harmonies they’ve manage to create a sound all their own while echoing inspiration from songwriters like Paul Simon, Josh Rouse, Jeff Tweedy, and Ray Lamontagne. Composed of three music educators (Masami, Afton, and Kristy) and a classical guitarist (Walter Rodriguez), Walter and the Night Owls was formed when a last minute gig sparked a musical kinship. With jam sessions lasting late into the night, their songs exude a sense of melancholy and longing that take the listener on a unique musical journey. Music from their initial EP has been featured in commercials, films ( i.e “Shades of Ray” starring Zachary Levi – NBC) and has been licensed for use on MTV2 network specials along with other international media outlets.  'Living in all Directions' is their debut full length album.

WAVM is a completely student-run radio and television station situated in Maynard High School, in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. WAVM has evolved from a closet-sized radio station to a multi-faceted multimedia station which now reaches more listeners and viewers than ever. WAVM serves the local community in all sorts of ways from its weekly church radio-broadcasts to its annual Beacon Santa Telethon which raises tens of thousands of dollars for the needy families of Massachusetts each year. WAVM continues to mold the minds of high schoolers, exposing them to the vast world of the communications industry.
