Theres a great feeling & atmosphere. Hard to let go, 23 minutes is long, but this is very interesting.

This tuba concerto is based on a large number of Shaker tunes, including "Come to Zion," which is emphasized. Mark Moore, soloist; Orquesta Filarmónica da Bogotá, conducted by Eduardo Diazmuñoz. Recorded in performance 5 October 2007. This composition was written at the request of Karl Kramer, and first performed by him with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra.

'Astatine' (2019) for saxophone, accordion, cello & electronics

Keith Moore uses the fields of acoustics and psychoacoustics to compose expressive and conceptually rich instrumental works that compel listeners to consider the beauty and breadth of perception itself.

Moore completed his D.M.A. at Columbia University studying with Fred Lerdahl, Tristan Murail and George Lewis. His teachers also include Sir Harrison Birtwistle (M.M., King’s College), Alvin Lucier, Anthony Braxton, Neely Bruce (M.A., Wesleyan University) and the storied composition faculty of the University of Illinois (B.M.). He has participated in extended courses with David Tudor, Joan Tower, James Tenney, Pauline Oliveros, Brian Ferneyhough and Martin Bresnick.
