Serious heat was brought to The Darkside by heavy-hitters Bendtsen and Alan Murphy, co-founders of Denmark-based label Kellerhobel. These two have a chemistry behind the decks that has to be seen to be believed, but luckily we recorded their set and can relive the magic!

Top 100 techno producer Bendtsen has become a familiar name in the dark techno community, with consistent chart-topping tracks in the peak time/driving genre o significant digital labels such as Subios Records, Alpaka Music, Crypt Music, Shadow Wulf, and his own label Kellerhobel. After many successful productions released over a very short term, Bendtsen made a solid breakthrough and now performs alongside artists such as TiM TASTE, Carbon, Joseph Disco, Kaufmann, Lampé, and others. His appearance at some of the major European and Middle Eastern clubs and events has become more prominent in the last few years and there are many more to come.
Recently Bendtsen released a remix on the latest Shadow Wulf EP, "Watching You," from fellow Danish producer Neumann, as well as a solo EP on Shadow Wulf, "Energy," back in the spring of 2022.

Kellerhobel co-founder Alan Murphy is a formidable producer and performer within the Dark Techno scene. All who have experienced Alan would agree his energy is infectious, and he brings a sound and presence to the table that is undoubtedly powerful. His productions have appeared on big labels Subios, AlpaKa MuziK, Kellerhobel, to name a few – and his collaborative EP titled “Dark Phoenix” held position in the top 100 charts for months. It won’t be long before we are host to Alan’s music on Shadow Wulf too!

My playtime was saturday morning at the Dampfer floor from 10.00 - 14.00 - It was great to play there again and the floor was lit 🔥🔥🔥.

Alan Murphy, danish born with american roots, has been part of the club scene since the turn of the millennium. Over the years he has a played a wide variety of venues, events and parties in and out of Denmark. His sound and style is best described as dark and minimal techno with a pumping feel and energetic drive.

Besides being af DJ, he also produces and releases music with Bendtsen and has releases out on Subios Records, Alpaka Muzik and Kellerhobel. His last collaborated EP called; Dark Phoenix, made it to the top 100 charts and stayed there for months. Since then he recently released another collab track with Bendtsen as part of a VA compilation on AlpaKa Muzik.

Alan is also the co-founder of the danish underground techno label, Kellerhobel. A project he co-owns with his buddy Bendtsen, the label only focuses on dark tech house and minimal/techno releases. His debut single, was released on that same label back in dec 2018.

The set is an exclusive live recording done for the Kellercast series, recorded a few weeks back at KB18, during their closing set, one early morning.

Maxim is well known in the Buenos Aires underground scene, he started playing around with electronic music, at a very young age before even going out. As he became older, the night in a way became his home, and here he met many like minded people. 
As a dj, he has played different venues around the city, among a few named, is Bahrein and Blow. 
Besides dj’ing, he runs his own project; Hook Society, founded in 2016, it is today both a podcast series and a party project,  through which he also organises his own parties. - https://soundcloud.com/hooksociety

Maxim is also well known for his deep and groovy sets, finding his inspiration through house and tech house artist from around the world. He seeks out a specific sound, as he explains it, a lot of it from new musicians/producers who are combining music elements in a way, that he describes as the sound of the future. Currently his sets include tracks, which consist of big grooves and heavy bass-lines and a lot of percussions, but always with that House feel to it. This style or sound has led him to make very interresting, intense and fun warmups for artist like: Weska, Tomy Wahl, Nomar, Lolu Menaye, Fussion, Who Else, and many more.

We at Kellerhobel are happy to have him do this Kellercast for us.

Kellercast 003 is from a guy who needs no introduction. 
Joseph Disco has already, established himself as a well known and respected dj and producer, on the German techno scene.

He has played countless gigs in and out of Germany on clubs like: Sisyphos, Wilden Renate, Rummelsbucht, Südpol, Club Charlotte and Hive in Zurich.
He has even played Rave on Snow and the Berlin Loveparade. 
When behind the decks Joseph DJ’s like he has never done anything else, and he can be described with one word: PRO!!

Joseph Disco started his musical path with techno as a resident dj in Cologne’s legendary club: “Playground” during this period he found his way in to producing music himself. Shortly after returning to his native Munich in 2005, he released his first project on the label: Great Stuff Recordings, and later on labels like Stil vor Talent and Platform B, both as an solo artist and with different projects.

At the moment Joseph is focused on producing, and also doing some serious work with another great talent, Daniel Jaeger at his studio in Berlin. They have already shown to be, a very good match when it comes to producing some serious sound.

In 2019 you will see confirmed releases from Joseph on labels such as: Heinz, Criminal Baseline, Phobos, Digital Diamonds and Lauter Unfug.

For our 5th Kellercast we bring to you:  Raphael Hofman, who with his recent release done in collaboration with Daniel Jaeger on Heinz music, has been climbing the beatport charts. 
The release containing solid remixes by Joseph Disco and DJ Lion.

Raphael Hofman is a Dutch-German Techno/Techhouse producer & DJ based in Berlin. Born in Aachen, he began DJ'ing and organizing events at local Clubs at the age of only 16. 

As a part of a wide range of music-projects, different bands and theatre productions, his technical skills & music interest were intensified. 
In spring 2014, Raphael moved to Berlin to work for De:Bug Magazine in Berlin and focus on further working with music. He now also plays top Berlin clubs like Sisyphos and Katerblau.

The sound: set’s & tracks of Raphael Hofman, are known for their special deep & dark sound, surrounded by different rhythmic structures & soundspaces. It could be classified into a mix of Techno, Tech House & elements of Detroit House. 

Hofman plays, produces, sings & records everything himself on every single track, the productions contains a certain handmade roughness.

Prior to our first label night this friday @ Culture Box in Copenhagen DK, the two danish label artists; Bendtsen and Alan Murphy bring you the next Kellercast 006.

Alan Murphy has been Dj’ing for many years and been doing so in and out of Denmark. 
Bendtsen started his musical journey through the production of music, and has been doing it solo for some years now. Through his music production, his dj career quickly took off as well, and has been doing this for some years now as well, in and out of Denmark. 
Besides having his own solo project when producing techno, he also produces with Alan Murphy, they have just recently released their first single together called: “Dimension”.

Whether they combine forces in a studio, or in a dj booth… something magical happens !!!
They have played countless gigs in Denmark and has been seen behind the decks as well in countries like Sweden and Germany, playing different venues and festivals there. 
Both of them are deeply inspired by the german techno scene and are both well wandered in the Berlin underground were they have been coming for years.

They both have upcoming releases on the way out on Kellerhobel, a label they also manage and own. 
Bendtsen also has a coming release on the way out on the german label: @tonboutique-records.

The guys jumped behind the decks and did this one hour b2b set for the next Kellercast, enjoy.

Expect high energy tech house and techno in this mix, including tracks or remixes by artist such as: Touchtalk, Joseph Disco, Jay Lumen, Olivier Giacomotto, Dirrty Dishes and and many more.

Carbon Live @ Praerie Festival 2020 (Station Endlos)

For our 5th edition of AlpaKast we are proud to present this wonderful techno mix by APHE, a producer and DJ based in Germany.
This mix includes some tracks from our label and many other amazing productions from around the world, some produced by APHE himself.
APHE played a gig in Montreal for us in January 2020 and he absolutely smashed it.
A little while later, he released Montreal Madness EP on our label, a collaboration with his good friend Tim Taste. This EP, inspired by their trip to our home town, is one of our most popular releases and is played all over the world!!
