Bon voilà, après quasiment 10 ans où j'ai lancé Synopsis il est temps de prendre des risques et de me faire des ennemies.

1) D'abord changement majeur au niveau de la communication, elle sera désormais à mon image: du 5eme degrés mêlant tout de même des infos mais pas en continu à la @bfmtv

J'ai trop longtemps voulu plaire à tout le monde, c'est fini.

2) Je me lance ce défi avec une mixtape sur un épisode de la flamme. Vous allez donc avoir 9 mixtapes d'ici mi octobre SANS COMPTER les mixtapes de film. En gros vous allez manger du synopsis, dormir synopsis, synopsis du synopsis. Les mixtapes de la flamme sont des hors-série de mes sons préférés en 10 ans.

3) Je me lance comme challenge d'arrêter l'alcool. (Mais on s'en fou synopsis... attends tu vas comprendre)

On est à 2 semaine déjà et je me sens au max à tout niveau.

"La fête n'est pas folle sans alcool"

Vous inquiétez pas je suis déjà bien débile naturellement, je suis même paradoxalement bien plus hyperactif et je vais encore plus loin dans mes "blagues"
Car oui, je suis hyperactif et en même temps je souffre d'hypersensibilité. Enfin, je souffre il y a des beaucoup de qualités et aussi des défauts. J'en ai juste assez de devoir justifier mon comportement "atypique" car certains pensent que je suis juste explosé, murgé et j'en passe mais toi tu même tu sais que je sais que tu sais. Saisception

C'est tout de même étonnant, la doxa souhaite qu'on fasse un DJ set extraordinaire en ayant un comportement ordinaire.

Donc afin que je mène mes projets à terme je suis désolé mais je vais maintenir ce capte. Je ne veux plus vouloir être en fonction de la sensibilité de chacun. Je ne vais plus vivre en fonction des autres (attention je ne vais pas devenir égoïste Jean-Michel premier degré du nom)

Voilà, voilà. Moment journal intime un peu chiant et naïf mais là j'avance.

In 1997 his debut DJ set was an instant succes that changed the Belgian clubscene of the late 90's. In only a few months time he became the deejay that rise above the successes of the Belgian Top dj's with a completely new approach to the art of deejay. And over the years many have tried to define what he was doing without succes. And for over 25 years now he has been always working at one of the Belgiums top 5 most popular clubs or venues. It brought him to many different party's in many European countries. 

But his fanbase reaches to every corner of the world with people from different generations and cultures. He became more obsessed in the last decade by finding as many versions of tracks he likes or can use in dj gigs. Since 2004 playing mostly in the LGBTIQ+ partyscene. And been part of many successful venues and parties by creating a unique sound for each venue he played at.

In 2019 LogiK Monkey became a name, Kenne Perry started to use to reclaim his place in the trendsetting more clubby underground club scene. Something he perfectly managed to achieve again by using music genres long before most others did blend genres and transform them into a new illusionair genre. 

During the pandemic in 2020 he worked many hours to reorganise the storage of most music he had collected so far. It only made him fall in love and understand his role in Europe's LGBTQIA+ clubscene where he is one of the most famous names you will find. (All without the use of agencies, media attention, music productions, managements, ... )

But since two years he was reconnecting to his main style, and it became the beginning of something new. He started the project LogiK Monkey to continue this path. In this podcast you can hear the highlights of the first two years in his new alter ego.

This year I take you to a place at the other side of the rainbow. Where Monkeys fly, where the streets are yellow and where kings and queens are wizards and witches. And the capital is made out of Green Crystals. This is a postcard from Oz (2020)

The Biography of Kenne Perry (LogiK Monkey, D*FOG, The Urban Funk Affaire, Dj KennIth)


Who is Kenne Perry?
It’s the guy who is first of all a deejay. 
Most deejays can be defined by a specific music style. 
In late 90’s he became a dj overnight. 
It was something he never thought of before even if he had been obsessed by 
music since the age of 4. In the mid 90’s you only had clubs and bars. His debut in 
the Belgian nightlife was innovating at that time. In no time this venue became one of
the hotspots of the West-European partyscene. It was during that time he created his 
unique vibe when he plays music. And what many don’t realise is that it’s not the music or 
songs that are important, but what you do with it.

It was only 5 years after he started mixing that he did his first club performance. His club debut was
at the most important club of Europe around that time. A lot of guest appearances followed. 
About 3 years later he became resident for a gay party in Brussels. The party grew into one of the big 
players of the gayscene. A few other residency’s followed. By the time he joined the team of La Demence in 2007
he had become one of the biggest DJ names in the gay nightlife of Europe and that with only a few performances outside
his native country. 

The way he joined the team of Europe’s biggest gay concept was not what most people would have imagined. That brings us to 
another part of what exact distinguishes him with any other deejay. The party at that time was already very popular and brought people from all over Europe monthly to Brussels. A dj spot on the main floor would have been the easy way and would have worked. But instead of that the small bar on the top floor was more challenging. For about 15 years this 3rd room was only used as a passage to the playroom. Because he had a few residencies at that time it started as a try out, but from the very first time he took over that forgotten and unwanted place, it was spot on. And just like in his early days he had found a venue where he was able the experiment with genres, timelines, etc. And the underdog position instead of the spotlight was not a bad thing after all. 

The Cruise was a gift send from heaven as it was the perfect event where he could showcase his diversity. And thanks to that annual event he learned the complexity of his identity as an artist. 
In 2007 it was time to bring his music back into the centre. A rebranding was part of that strategy. 
With the start of LogiK Monkey he disconnected himself from the name Kenne Perry. A name that is grown into a more clubby mainstream label. With this name he began a new chapter. And only a few weeks after the launch of the new name, he got signed at Europe’s biggest and longest running after hour club. This dj residency at Greenkomm in Germany and the headline spot at La Demence have made the debut of LogiK Monkey one of the most impressive things to accomplish. 


In 2019 another project was brought into life. D*FOG. 
It’s a project that is more focussed on house and disco that originally was created for some parties and bar dj performances. 
And then a pandemic brought nightlife into a deep sleep. The perfect time to brainstorm and work out some ideas for these two projects.
During that time he even brought back the name DJ Kenn Ith. The name he used in the first few years of his career. With that name he is creating some exclusive and very limited events based on the 80’s and 90’s Hi-Nrg and Italo Disco sound. 
And in the second part of 2021 the project that is revisiting RnB is called: The Urban Funk Affair

All these projects are created by Kenne Perry, my official name...
