Recorded in the early hours of 1/1/11, this is a house/techno set with a slight difference.  I tried to avoid recent tracks and went a bit further back in my box to try and pick out some classics that I hadn't played for a while, some for longer than I care to remember.

Have been into dance music since 1990/91. I love the music and also dancing to it. I was introduced to dance music by my friend who introduced me to the wonders of Detroit house & techno. My early influences were Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Carl Craig, Plus 8 and Eddie 'Flashin' Fowlkes but I was also into a number of European artists too like Matt Cogger aka Neuropolitique, Irdial Discs, Black Dog, B12, Autechre, The Orb, Kirk Degiorgio and Stefan Robbers.
My favourite DJ of all time is Francois Kevorkian and I have been lucky enough to have been to Deep Space in NYC which was totally amazing.
I only use vinyl in my sets, no cds and no mp3s either. I currently use 2 x Technics 1210 mk2 decks and a Denon DN-X1500 mixer. I have been recording my sets recording audio directly to my laptop using Audacity. There is no tweeking or editing done after the recording, what you hear is what I played and how I played it. I am interested in doing some djing as a warm up.
I am also hoping to work on some tracks of my own also and will post these.
