On his way to becoming a Grammy and Academy Award-Winning R&B Singer, Songwriter, Producer and Pianist, Kenny Crawford, born Kenneth Robert Crawford, was a child prodigy who grew up in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He began singing gospel at the age of five. It was there that he first found a larger audience. Kenny formed his own band where he played the club seen to sold out audiences. Opening up for major artist who came to Milwaukee, he became pretty skilled at how to seduce a crowd. Kenny left his home at 20 to live in New York, working with Bob Ross, he develop his skill for producing music and writing songs. He moved to Los Angeles where he caught the eye of A&M Records, which brought him together with some of the industries prominent producers such as Tony Colman, Ray Barns, Dick Griffey founder of Solar Records, Aaron Jacoves A&R for A&M Records, Chuck Gentry, and George Clinton. Kenny's voice has 4 1/2 octaves. He can sing in falsetto which will captivate you, leaving you breathless. Taking you down to his low range without you ever knowing what hit you. Filled with the ability to capture you through a dance, you will surely enjoy him as an entertainer. Kenny has a new CD that has been released on Private Room Records. It's on, You Tube, Sound Cloud and RevebNation. As an R&B singer, this CD will allow you to enjoy some real R&B music. His four in a half octaves is showcased throughtout this CD. Each songs has Kenny's own signature on it. He has been paired up to the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross while yet, holding his own.
