I wrote this song about 2 years ago, during a time in my life where I was trying to please everyone by doing what they thought was right for me.  This song came out of me in the midst of all this when I decided what other people say doesn’t control me and who I chose to be in my life.  Just because it may not be something they would do or something they completely disagree with, doesn’t make either of us any better or worse.  It’s only an opinion, and that’s okay.  
I wrote this song around the analogy of a saint defining someone as a sinner because of a conflicting opinion.  For me personally, people told me I shouldn’t be doing music because it wasn’t fit for me.  But it was something that felt so right to me and I kept practicing and working toward my goals.  Once I got to USC, despite my moments of doubt, I knew I was meant to be there among all these talented professors and students.  So this is my way of telling everyone who choses to listen, if something feels right to you then go for it, be who you want to be, love who you want to love, and say what you need to say in a graceful way! 

I want to say I’m incredibly thankful for everyone who has ever supported me and my music and of course I’m INSANELY grateful for the musicians and producers who worked so incredible hard on this to make it happen! Keep an eye out for more music coming your way. Enjoy! 


Saints And Sinners

I wrote this song about manifesting self-love before giving a piece of that love to someone important.  This song is about somebody who wants so badly to fall in love and who desperately seeks a significant other to give their love to, that they forget about giving themself some love.  I strongly believe self-love is so important no matter who you are, what you do, and whom you choose to pass your love along to.  You can only give your full heart to someone when you know your own inner love.  Self-love isn’t a huge ego, vanity or arrogance.  It’s an inner peace that comes from being okay with who you are no matter your mistakes and forgiving yourself.  So to everyone out there looking to fall in love, slow it down because you must create your own love from within before you can pass it on to someone special.
