André Penalva, is the name behind the project 'Mimic Vat'; an eletronic music producer natural from Lisbon, Portugal. Started to produce in 2008, and with his live-set debut in 2011, it's an hitech project with a wide range of bpm, structure, harmony and sound-design techniques.
Having released and currently part of Kamino Records, he has too collaborated with some of the world's best psychedelic artists and released on labels such as Osom Music, Alice-D Records, Noise Poison, Namo, Freak Records, among others. As well, he is one of the co-founders of the split projects 'Gotavat' and 'Pharmacy Kids Story'.
Since then, over the past years he has toured and traveled over 5 continents, from Australia, India, Brasil, Mexico to Europe in overall, playing at some of the most epic and legendary gatherings ever, such as Ozora, Hadra, Masters of Puppets, Anacã, PsyCircus, Anti-Gravity, Spirit Gust, etc. For bookings and info: mimicvatmusic@europe.com

He started his music life as a drummer at an amateur heavy metal band in 2004. Those years when he was playing drums, he was also collecting a huge amount of underground electronic music archive. He listened trance music, but his first psychedelic trance experience became real when he met with “Hakan Hısım” and joined Tree Of Life Festival 2012. After this festival he decided to start his psychedelic career and his first project “Kerology” is created. He played as a DJ at many indoor and outdoor events’ alternative stages. He joined “Crystal Kids” as a resident DJ in 2015. And he continues playing and producing music for his second project “Intutula”. This project is the dark side of Kero.
