Born & lived in the West Midlands before moving south to Hampshire England in 2000, Alan joined the Rave scene in 92/93 & started to collect records shortly afterwards & Maverick was born!!

Since then he has been on a musical journey, going wherever his ears & legs take him, picking up as much music from all different genres, from Jungle Techno to Gabber, Hardstyle to Psychedelic Trance, he loves it all!!!

Known for playing hard, fast & dirty sets, there is softer side who can offer an uplifting & gentle set too!! Always enjoying the music in its many different genres, absorbing the energy & giving the crowd what they want!!

Previous resident Dj for Psyrhythmix held 3rd Friday every month in Brixton at Club 414, London & frequently a Guess Dj for multiple events UK & Worldwide.

I am a DJ. Yes. And I produce music. House Music. And - I believe in the magic that good music can deeply trigger our emotions.  And - I run this label called SUGARSTARR TRAXX. Feel free to collaborate and release with me. 

My mission is bringing together the wide range of House Music. From Disco-, Funky- to undergroundish Ibiza Tech House.

Sugarstarr is a DJ and Producer, based in Vienna. In the Musicbiz since 1998 he had several #1 Club-Hits released on labels such as Spinnin‘ Deep, Enormous Tunes, Ministry Of Sound, Kontor, Positiva, Universal, Sony, Defected, Toolroom, Subliminal, WePlay and many more. The type of style that is typical for Sugarstarr can be described as Deep-Funky-Techhouse with Vocals & Soul. One of his latest releases was called "Hey Sunshine"​ an hit the #1 in the Beatport-Charts for 8 weeks in a row nad #2 All-Over . It's supported by the likes of Claptone, EDX, Oliver Heldens, Fedde Le Grand, and many many more. The early releases and achievements in his almost 20 years lasting career was along his partner Syke. Thus the project was called Syke'n'Sugarstarr. They cemented their reputation as premier producers and DJs with a string of releases which where also supported by the A-League of the Electronic Dance Music Scene, incl. Mark Knight, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar Kaskade, David Guetta. One of the biggest tunes they ever produced was the collaboration with Housemusic-Legend CeCe Rogers and the reincarnation of the classic "No Love Lost"​ which was three weeks the "Essential New Tune Of the Week"​ of Pete Tong's  Show on BBC Radio 1. Back to Sugarstarr as a solo-artist, which he now embodies since 2014 with huge success. Beside a long list of releases such as "Ticket 2 Ride"​ "Are You Watching Me"​, "Like That Sound"​ or "My Belief"​  it's one more to mention here. It's about the 2014 collaboration with Redman & Method Man (Wu-Tang Clan) in a different way, as Goh. The track called „I Used To Be“ and sat well on the No. 1 position on Beatport for six (!) weeks in a row too. This newly created style combined Nu Disco with Rap & Hip Hop elements. But - the most appealing aspect of Sugarstarr is just how fresh he sounds. Both with his productions and his DJ'ing, which, as anyone who has seen him behind the decks will know, is as diverse and experimental as his studio work.

Vieka Plays (:vee-e-ka p-l-aa-ys). Born, will die. A female singer-songwriter-electronic-fiddler-producer-engineer currently residing in the fair lands of Manchesterville, UK. Inspired and nourished by music and sound.

 Vieka plays her music full frontal, sometimes delicate, sometimes brash but always dedicated to the senses. Alikened to Björk, Portishead with a dash of Cocorosie, Vieka moves through you in a whirl of challenging stories and sounds created by all manors of electronic geekery that can be harnessed, beated and whipped into shape. 

...'Combining sonic brutality, unfettered on-stage physicality, never-quite-reassuring periods of calm and moments of breath-taking spectral beauty'...'Ostensibly an avant-garde musician in the Portishead/Björk mould mould, Vieka’s beguiling live performances set her apart from other experimentalists.'

With a lustful desire for the wild world, Vieka weaves through all manner of sounds; blending, warping and creating impassioned soundscapes with subtle sound recordings from nature, life and the wide-wide world. Obtuse creations of synthesised bass, glitch noise and samples come from deep within the digital spectrum while the vocals cut through unabashed.

'With a tongue stuffed thoroughly in her cheek she blissfully hovers her sound in the darker sides of life (or hoovers her music up from the filthy corner of the proverbial room).'
