Too many people have already edited this song to add the "STAYC girls, it's going down" line, so when I started working on it I tried to go further and change the whole genre too (while also adding that line!), that's why I went with this pop sound with lots of folk elements such as Chinese instruments and a catchy mandolin melody during the chorus. As a longtime ONCE I was super excited about Nayeon's solo debut, and while the song is super catchy I thought it'd be fun to turn it into a moombahton-inspired dance track with strong Middle Eastern influences and hip hop elements. And it was fun indeed, it kinda sounds like a good song to practice belly dance to! So I really hope you'll like this one!
