about #BlackGummy:
BlackGummy is the creation of Los Angeles-based producer Iman Marouf, who discovered the mysterious entity known as BlackGummy during a transformative journey in 2013. This encounter sparked a unique fusion of identities, driving BlackGummy’s obsessive quest for mastery in sound design and music production. Under the mentorship of renowned producer Steve Duda, Iman also contributed to the development of the legendary synthesizer Serum, adding to his growing reputation for forward-thinking sound design and music production.

In 2015, mau5trap quickly recognized BlackGummy’s unique prowess and released his first original track, “Lullaby,” followed by the critically acclaimed Singularity EP in 2016. This release set the tone for BlackGummy’s dark, cinematic sound and led to a trilogy of EPs — including Impactor and Monolith — each exploring profound themes and earning praise from industry giants.

Following his own headline tour and standout performances at festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, EDC Mexico, EDC Guangdong, Lollapalooza, BUKU Music + Art Project, and Shambhala — among many others — BlackGummy continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.

Now, after completing his trilogy, BlackGummy stepped back to create his most ambitious body of work yet — a project larger in scope than all three EPs combined, and his most expansive concept to date. This new era launched with a headline show at Sound for the We Are Friends event and a direct support slot for deadmau5 in London. Entering a new chapter, BlackGummy is preparing to unveil his long-awaited debut album, set to begin rolling out on mau5trap starting August 22, 2025, with the full release arriving later this year.

Hatiras is a 2 time Juno Award winner and owner of one of the planet's hottest and most prolific independent House Music labels - Spacedisco Records. He was ranked the world's #1 Jackin House artist according to Traxsource several times in recent years and has amassed millions of streams through his releases.

His first UK TOP TEN and global hit record was "Spaced Invader" released on Defected Records at the turn of the millennium. It was named Pete Tong's Essential new tune twice and launched Hatiras' career as a globally touring artist.

His roots in the electronic music scene run very deep. He played a major role in North America's rave scene as the mastermind of Liquid Adrenaline raves hosting parties for thousands of people and developing the career of many DJs and artists. He currently organizes Spacedisco Records parties across the globe to showcase his music and that of the artists on his label. It's been supported by artists like Green Velvet, Solomun, Swedish House Mafia, Mark Knight, Mau P, Armand Van Helden, Sam Divine, Low Steppa, Patrick Topping, Tini Gessler and too many more to count! To say Hatiras is on a roll is an understatement. It is next to impossible to check the House charts these days without finding at least a few tunes in the charts that Hatiras has touched.
