At 5:28 AM , Tuesday morning residents along the Sonoma and Mendocino coast were awakened by a loud "boom" and sometimes experienced minor shaking. Although most residents are used to earthquakes, however, this one seemed significantly different. Geologist Tom Cochrane, author of "Shaping the Sonoma-Mendocino Coast", joined me to talk about the earthquake and San Andreas Fault.
