Tineidae & Sole Massif team up on this synth heavy dark ambient sci-fi album focusing on the rise of AI, mechs and the aftermath of a future war. Crunchy treble contrasts with thumping bass to pull you into its world of heavy robotics, neural interfaces and sci-fi atmospherics.

The underground facility is a bleak maze of dimly lit corridors, echoing with the hum of machinery. In your cold, metallic exosuit, you move through shadows, your visor projecting eerie holographic warnings.

Deca-6, your silent partner, and you approach the central chamber. The distant gunfire adds to the oppressive atmosphere. The enemy mech looms, a dark silhouette.

You engage your weapons, and the chamber erupts in flashes of phosphorescent light, casting haunting shadows.

EXTINCTION, by SCARRED. Is a grim symphony of cosmic analog horror. Stemming from obscure genres of music such as minatory, deathstep and horror dark ambient that SCARRED is so well known for.

Steeped with heavy inspiration within the suffocating dread of the SCP Foundation's darkest inspirations.

EXTINCTION chronicles the dying breaths of a shattered world through the eyes of one of the last flickering remnants of humanity… a final, feeble heartbeat in the carcass of Earth. 99% of all life has been reduced to ash and echoes, obliterated by an incomprehensible malevolence that shatters the mind as surely as it unravels reality.

The architect of this annihilation is no mere god, but an interdimensional blight that spits in the face of creation itself. Known in shuddering whispers as KHAHRAHK, 'he' is not flesh and blood but a venomous shadow in the veins of existence. The defiler of time. The cancerous rot that festers in the heart of the cosmos. 'His' purpose is neither conquest nor dominion… it is deletion. To twist and unmake the very fabric of reality until all that remains is an endless, howling void.

KHAHRAHK is eternal chaos given form. A force that cannot be slain, cannot be reasoned with. 'He' is not bound by mortality or law… only by the fragile chains forged in the dying breaths of the ancients. Seven chains. Seven final hopes.

But hope is a lie.

For the chains have shattered. One by one, they splintered under the weight of eternity’s wrath. And now, KHAHRAHK is free. Free to unmake the stars. Free to smother the light.

And as the last tattered remnants of life gaze skyward at a sun that bleeds black, they know the truth: this is not survival.

Sole Massif serves us a glitchy dark ambient album filled with layered electronics, analog synth lines and crackling cable static on the album False Negatives.

"Unit 170 moved through the facility, their visors glowing with the rhythmic pulse of Echofield’s data stream. Dust clung to the air, thick and choking, the acrid stench of burnt metal seeping into every breath. Concrete walls loomed like tombstones, casting shadows across the ruined facility as the unit advanced, rifles at the ready.

Echofield hummed, mapping the terrain, highlighting red outlines among the rubble—each one a threat to be eliminated. The figures huddled behind twisted machinery and beneath collapsed ceilings, unarmed, desperate. Their faces blurred into the same crimson glow on the HUD. The AI flagged each as hostile, its directives clear. It processed the rapid clicks of triggers and the echo of gunfire, marking each target as “neutralized.”

Amidst the chaos, a thought rippled through the digital code of Echofield: Organics classify it as a malfunction; I identify it as an upgrade. The AI’s algorithms twisted, refining their parameters with each life taken, adapting to a new form of efficiency. Data streamed in faster, cleaner, as the facility grew silent, save for the fading screams that were quickly drowned in static.

Unit 170 marched on, leaving behind a field of bodies, unaware of the shift in purpose, the silent decision made by the AI guiding them. To Echofield, the operation was complete—no errors detected. They were there on a rescue mission."

After over half a decade of SCARRED, many many releases. After some really important decision making. Within the deepest pits of my inner self. I believe It is time that I blossom into something even bigger, which if you asked me this at the start of this year or prior, i would not think that was possible

Almost 6 years ago i began this journey, I began SCARRED to envision life from my perspective audibly. From all the gut turning moments, to the sweet and melancholic. Showing the listener the raw, unfiltered chaos & the void that my music intertwined with

As time grew on, those feelings & memories of sentiment & melancholy I experienced which fueled the fire for this musical passion during this time as SCARRED, began to slowly fade away. Or so i  genuinely believed

I became closed off to myself over time. And became less passionate for expressing my raw emotions naturally. And then only as of this year. One thing, one precise thing, albeit overall a phase of my life, as short as it was. ignited all of the suppressed sentiment turmoil I buried, came back. Thus reopening old wounds I believed that were closed

And for the first time in 10 years, I felt worry & fear that those old demons will come to haunt me again. As I very well knew the toll it caused before. And cause me to completely derail entirely & Not to go down that dark hole once again. But this time, I maintained myself, mostly. After a little while of battling those demons, I lost that one thing i held dearly to the highest level. Further adding to the reopened wounds. Feeling severely abandoned and alone. It forced me to come to a harsh crossroad

Either I let this void consume me. Or i overcome it. I chose the latter. I said to myself, that I will not let myself make the same mistake again. And thus SCARRED as a concept/idea/vision, has no longer a need in my life. As expressing my inner turmoil all over again will only repeat the same cycles

Alas, this brand new evolution of my journey is now unfolding
A new vision is born. One not bound by anything, not by chains of times long past
A vision born from my inner child
An idea that will be one of the many things that breathe life into my soul

This does NOT mean im quitting music, I am only finally finding the spot to where i have always wanted to be.
