Le projet de ce SOUL CAGES TRIO consiste à ré-arranger, aux couleurs Jazz et Fusion, certaines compositions du plus gentleman des songwriters anglais : Sting. En puisant aussi bien dans son répertoire solo que dans celui de The Police, ces trois musiciens - Gilles Coquard (basse) et Cédric Affre (batterie) - prennent beaucoup de plaisir a traiter ces mélodies comme des standards de Jazz, qu'ils arrangent à leur manière et sur lesquelles ils développent leurs improvisations.
