Preach The Gospel

The message of Christianity is in the Cross, how Christ died on the Cross to guarantee our salvation and our place in the presence of God. Because of Jesus’ death, we are justified before God. Justification is the act of God declaring us righteous as we have put our faith in what Christ has done. When we believe in the works of Christ, we are justified before God.

Preach The  Gospel 2 - Justified

When you love God, and you are preaching the gospel, you must be faithful to the content of the gospel. The Bible tells us that the gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing, meaning that inevitably there will be people who disagree with the gospel. In spite of this, we must continue to preach the message and truth of the gospel.

Preach the Gospel 4 - There are Rewards

Preach Christ Crucified

The salvation of your soul takes an entire lifetime. Progressive salvation is the salvation of your soul; you are being made free from the power of the indwelling sin. When we take up our cross and deny our souls, it makes the indwelling sin lose strength over us.

Progressive Salvation (Salvation Is Also A Process) - 1 Peter 1:6-9

God Himself calls us onto His type of holiness. You can’t meet the standard of heavenly demands without heavenly supply. We are called to holy behaviour based on God’s nature in us. God’s nature in us gives us the empowerment and enablement to act holy. God’s disciplining of us helps us to partake in His holiness.

Called To Be Holy - 1 Peter 1:12-20

Being redeemed means to free from bondage or slavery by paying a price. We are redeemed; Christ came to pay the price to redeem us. The preciousness of the blood redeems us from sins, transgressions, lawlessness, the curse of the law and our vain ways of living

Redeemed By The Precious Blood- 1 Peter 1:14-21

God called you and saved you according to His own purpose and grace, meaning that there is an agenda for your salvation. There is a reason behind why God saved you. This will never come to pass outside of salvation or outside of His Word. All the miracles and promises of God for your life can only be materialised in through the hearing of the Word. It takes the gospel to bring to light these realities. The gospel gives life.
